Air Conditioning Compressor Sound Attenuation
20200191415 · 2020-06-18 ·

A method of forming a sound attenuator around a compressor of an air conditioning system includes providing a molding cover, positioning a compressor of an air conditioning system in a cavity of the molding cover, and placing a first material in the cavity of the molding cover. The method further includes placing a second material in contact with the first material in the cavity of the molding cover. The first material and the second material chemically react with each other to form a self-forming foam around the compressor.

Liquid slugging detection and protection

A system includes a sensor and a controller for a refrigeration or HVAC system having a compressor. The sensor senses a temperature of the compressor during operation of the compressor. The controller is configured to determine a rate of change of the temperature relative to time and to perform one or more procedures to protect the compressor based on the rate of change of the temperature. The one or more procedures to protect the compressor include shutting down the compressor, throttling a pressure regulator valve of an evaporator associated with the compressor, adjusting an expansion valve associated with the evaporator, reducing speed of the compressor, and partially or wholly unloading the compressor.

System and Method for Machine Learning Predictive Maintenance Through Auditory Detection on Natural Gas Compressors

A system, method and computer program for predictive maintenance on natural gas compressors through auditory detection. Using one or multiple microphones, a system will collect and evaluate sound waves for the purpose of predicting and detecting failures and alert conditions in mechanical and process equipment. The system will collect sound which is used in a machine learning environment to utilize supervised training as well as unsupervised training, to produce a normal baseline and detect abnormal operations. Additionally, abnormal operations are categorized against known conditions. For uncategorized and unknown conditions, a workflow is in place to allow for the retraining and learning of new conditions which are then published to the entire network of devices.

A natural gas pumping system that includes a reciprocating compressor having at least two cylinders, a first conduit in fluid communication with an outlet of the first cylinder, a second conduit in fluid communication with an outlet of the second cylinder, and a junction in fluid communication with the first conduit and the second conduit.

Air conditioning compressor sound attenuation

A method of forming a sound attenuator around a compressor of an air conditioning system includes covering the compressor with a flexible protective cover and depositing a plurality of materials proximate an outer surface of the flexible protective cover such that at least some of the plurality of materials can chemically react to create a self-forming foam that abuts at least some of the flexible protective cover to thereby create the sound-attenuating structure around the compressor.

VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT SWASH PLATE TYPE COMPRESSOR

A variable displacement swash plate type compressor includes a first and a second valve body, and a suction and a bleed window. An open degree of the suction window is minimized by the first valve body and an open degree of the bleed window is maximized by the second valve body when a suction pressure is lower than a predetermined suction pressure and a crank chamber pressure is higher than a control pressure. The open degree of the suction window is increased and the open degree of the bleed window is maximized when the suction pressure is higher than the predetermined suction pressure and the crank chamber pressure is higher than the control pressure. The open degree of the suction window and the open degree of the bleed window are decreased when the crank chamber pressure is lower than the control pressure.

COMPRESSOR

A compressor is disclosed. The compressor includes an upper shell and a lower shell forming an appearance of the compressor. The compressor also includes a coupling portion provided between the upper shell and the lower shell and configured to protrude from a side surface of the upper shell or the lower shell to outside the upper shell or the lower shell. The coupling portion includes at least one coupling protrusion configured to protrude from a side surface of a flange portion to the outside, to increase a rigidity of the flange portion and the coupling portion.

DUAL PUMPING FLUID PUMP

A dual pumping fluid pump which significantly reduces vibration and noise generation. When a cam installed on a rotating shaft of a single electric motor is rotated, a pair of first and second diaphragms installed in connection to an eccentric shaft portion formed on both the left and right sides of the cam alternatingly rise and descend in opposite directions and cause first and second intake check valves and first and second discharge check valves provided on a fluid passage box integrally and connectedly installed on the top surface of a pump housing to open or close first and second intake holes and first and second discharge holes to admit fluid through a fluid inlet and simultaneously discharge fluid through a fluid outlet, so that the simultaneous effects of the intake pressure and discharge pressure of fluid causes pressure balancing to occur.

LINEAR COMPRESSOR
