POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT PRESSURIZING/DEPRESSURIZING PUMP
A pump includes: fluid delivery portions each including a volume variable mechanism, a first port and a second port, and a valve mechanism; and a pump flow path formed by the three or more fluid delivery portions being connected in series, in which a movement range of each of pistons includes a maximum volume position, a minimum volume position, and a switching position, and the pump flow path is configured such that a closing movement process (movement between switching position and minimum volume position) in which the piston moves between the switching position and the minimum volume position by driving of a drive device is sequentially shifted from a first inlet/outlet port toward a second inlet/outlet port or from the second inlet/outlet port toward the first inlet/outlet port among the fluid delivery portions
Methods and systems for operating a fleet of pumps
A system and method for operating a fleet of pumps for a turbine driven fracturing pump system used in hydraulic fracturing is disclosed. In an embodiment, a method of operating a fleet of pumps associated with a hydraulic fracturing system includes receiving a demand Hydraulic Horse Power (HHP) signal. The demand HHP signal may include the Horse Power (HP) required for the hydraulic fracturing system to operate and may include consideration for frictional and other losses. The method further includes operating all available pump units at a percentage of rating below Maximum Continuous Power (MCP) level, based at least in part on the demand HHP signal. Furthermore, the method may include receiving a signal for loss of power from one or more pump units. The method further includes operating one or more units at MCP level and operating one or more units at Maximum Intermittent Power (MIP) level to meet the demand HHP signal.

The fracturing and power generation switchable apparatus includes a power device, a speed transmission device, and a bearing base. The switchable apparatus is configured to switch between a first state and a second state, under the first state, the plunger pump is fixed on the bearing base and is connected with the speed transmission device, and the switchable apparatus is supplied as a fracturing apparatus, and under the second state, the electric generator is fixed on the bearing base and is connected with the speed transmission device, and the switchable apparatus is supplied as a power generation apparatus.
System and method for evacuating a process space
A method for evacuating a process space by initially evacuating the process space to a pressure limit value using two compressors operated in parallel, and on reaching or undershooting the pressure limit value, the process space is subsequently evacuated using the two compressors operated in series.
Independent control for simultaneous fracturing of multiple wellbores
A system and method for independent control of simultaneous fracturing for multiple wellbores is disclosed. In certain embodiments, a first clean pumping unit and a first dirty pumping unit are fluidically coupled to a first wellbore, wherein the first clean pumping unit pumps a first fluid to the first wellbore and the second clean pumping unit pumps a second fluid to the first wellbore. In certain embodiments, a second clean pumping unit and a second dirty pumping unit are fluidically coupled to a second wellbore, wherein the second clean pumping unit pumps the first fluid to the second wellbore and the second dirty pumping unit pumps. In certain embodiments, a controller controls a pumping rate of at least one of the first clean pumping unit and the first dirty pumping unit based on a desired parameter of a combined fluid pumped to the first wellbore.
POWER SYSTEM AND METHOD
The disclosure is directed to a system including a single source of electric power for work site operations. In regard to hydraulic fracturing stimulation of a wellbore, the system includes a single source of electric power for starting one or more frac pumps comprising engines with electric starters.
Micromechanical devices with mechanical actuators
A planar micromechanical actuator suspended on opposing suspension zones including a neutral axis between the opposing suspension zones, first to fourth segments into which the planar micromechanical actuator is segmented between the opposing suspension zones, each including a first electrode and a second electrode which form a capacitor and are isolatedly affixed to each other at opposite ends of the respective segment along a direction between the opposing suspension zones so as to form a gap between the first and second electrode along a thickness direction, the gap being offset to the neutral axis along the thickness direction, and wherein the first to fourth segments are configured such that the planar micromechanical actuator deflects into the thickness direction by the first and fourth segment bending into the thickness direction and the second and third segments bending contrary to the thickness direction upon a voltage being applied to the first and second electrodes of the first to fourth segments.
Controlling a power demand of a hydraulic fracturing system
In some implementations, a controller may monitor an available power supply of at least one power source for a system for hydraulic fracturing, and a current power demand of the system. The controller may determine, based on monitoring the available power supply and the current power demand, whether a relationship between the current power demand and the available power supply is indicative of an impending power failure. The controller may cause, based on determining that the relationship between the current power demand and the available power supply indicates the impending power failure, reduction of flow rates of one or more fluid pumps of the system to reduce the current power demand.
DUAL PUMP SMART CONTROL SYSTEM
A dual pump smart control system. The operating time and the number of simultaneous operations are analyzed and compared with a reference time and a reference number, so that a controller determines whether or not the operation is normal. Afterwards, the driving of a first pump and the driving of a second pump are differentially controlled depending on whether or not the operation is determined to be normal by the controller. Thus, a malfunction caused by the concentration of load at a specific pump is prevented. Accordingly, the dual pump smart control system precisely controls the driving of the dual pumps and enables the pumps to operate efficiently.
