Delivery of chemicals
11644019 · 2023-05-09 ·

A chemical delivery system connects to a chemical tank and includes a union connected to the tank outlet and providing an antirotation feature, in addition to threads, to prevent rotation of the assembly in response to asymmetric loads. A measuring tube alternately receives liquid from the tank and is isolated from the tank. While isolated from the tank, liquid is withdrawn from the tube by a pump under conditions allowing the pump to be calibrated. The assembly is cantilevered from the tank outlet and is of reduced length and weight producing a device which is not prone to overstress the tank outlet.

The present invention relates to a method for determining a present state of wear of a hydrostatic machine during the operation of the hydrostatic machine. The hydrostatic machine comprises a drive with variable rotational speed and a hydrostatic pump, wherein the drive is designed to drive the hydrostatic pump for generating a volume flow of a fluid, and wherein the hydrostatic machine is connected to a fluid transport channel in which the fluid is transported in a manner driven by the hydrostatic machine. The method has a step for determining a first torque of the drive at a specified drive vector. Furthermore, the method has a step for ascertaining a second torque of the drive at the specified drive vector using a first calculation method, and in addition, the method has a step for determining the present state of wear of the hydrostatic machine using a second calculation method, in order to compare the first determined torque and the second ascertained torque to one another.

An EHA system (10) for lifting or lowering a leg of an aircraft includes a hydraulic circuit (101) having a hydraulic actuator (a hydraulic cylinder 2) configured to lift or lower the leg, at least one electric hydraulic pump (3), and a hydraulic path, a pressure sensor (38, 83), a temperature sensor (84), and a control unit (a controller 9) configured to output a control signal for operating the electric hydraulic pump in leg lifting or lowering. The hydraulic circuit includes a pressure increasing element. The control unit performs health monitoring regarding the performance of the electric hydraulic pump based on the pressure of hydraulic fluid, the temperature of hydraulic fluid, and the speed of the electric hydraulic pump during operation of the electric hydraulic pump.

HYDRAULIC DRIVE SYSTEM OF CONSTRUCTION MACHINE

A bi-directional pump connected to a motor by a pair of supply/discharge lines; a regulator changes the bi-directional pump tilting angle; and a controller controls the regulator based on a turning signal outputted from a turning operation valve. At the turning acceleration, at which the signal increases, the controller calculates a motor flow rate passing through the motor and an instruction flow rate determined based on the turning signal. If the instruction flow rate is greater than a reference flow rate obtained by adding a predetermined value to the motor flow rate, the controller controls the regulator so the bi-directional pump tilting angle is adjusted to a tilting angle realizing the reference flow rate. If the instruction flow rate is not greater than the reference flow rate, the controller controls the regulator so the bi-directional pump tilting angle is adjusted to a tilting angle realizing the instruction flow rate.
