FLUID END

A fluid end comprising a plurality of fluid end sections positioned in a side-by-side relationship. Each fluid end section is releasably attached to a connect plate. Each connect plate is attached to a power source using a plurality of stay rods. Each fluid end section comprises a housing in fluid communication with a pair of intake manifolds and a discharge conduit. A fluid routing plug is installed within each housing and is configured to route fluid throughout the housing. A plunger is installed within stuffing box attached to each housing. A number of features, including the location of seals within bore walls and carbide inserts within valve guides, aid in reducing or transferring wear.

Alternatively or additionally, the compressor 10 includes a sensor 56 arranged to sense a critical parameter of the compressor 10, and a controller in communication with the motor 22 and the sensor 56, the controller configured to control operation of the motor 22 to adjust a rotational speed of a shaft 24 responsive to receiving a sensed value from the sensor 56.

A pump including a housing defining a plurality of inlet bores. A first interior wall is arranged to at least partially define a first of the plurality of inlet bores. The first interior wall has a contour in a cross section taken normal to the plunger axes. The first interior wall is at least partially defined by the revolution of the contour about a first inlet axis that is normal to and intersects a first of the plurality of plunger axes. The contour includes a cylindrical portion arranged parallel to the first inlet axis, a planar portion extending in a direction perpendicular to the first inlet axis and spaced a first distance from the plunger axis, and a convex bulge portion extending from the cylindrical portion and spaced a second distance from the plunger axis. The contour further includes a V-shaped groove portion extending from the convex bulge portion.

PUMP MODULE AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING A FLUID JET

A pump module and a device for producing a fluid jet with a pump module are disclosed. In an embodiment the pump module may include a pump housing in which at least one pump piston is mounted in a reciprocatingly movable manner and is provided with at least one sealing element which during a pumping operation interacts with a cylinder. For creating such a pump module producible in a simple manner and nevertheless exhibiting the functionality necessary for the pumping operation, embodiments disclose a valve block, which receives at least one valve associated with the cylinder, wherein the cylinder is sealed against the valve block. Furthermore, a cover element may abut against the valve block on a side opposite to the cylinder and between itself and the valve block forms an inlet passage leading to the cylinder and/or an outlet passage communicating with the cylinder.

A retainer nut assembly for a fluid end of a pump system includes a plug with two blades separated by edge cuts, a plug exterior face and a threaded rod extending from the plug exterior face. Each of the blades includes an arcuate face. A mid-cap includes a hole for receiving the threaded rod therethrough with the mid-cap positioned adjacent the plug. The mid-cap further includes flange segments. A cover cap includes a hole for receiving the threaded rod therethrough with the cover cap positioned adjacent the mid-cap. The cover cap has extensions separated by cut outs. Each of the extensions are configured to extend axially between respective flange segments of the mid-cap when the cover cap is assembled to the mid-cap. A fastener engages the threaded rod and secures the retainer nut assembly together.
