Pump valve seat with supplemental retention
A valve seat comprising a primary retention component to retain the valve seat in a valve seat housing upon seating of the valve seat in the valve seat housing, and a secondary retention component to at least temporarily retain the valve seat in the valve seat housing during seating of the valve seat in the valve seat housing, whereafter the valve seat is primarily retained in the valve seat housing via the primary retention component.
Valve assembly
A valve assembly for regulating the flow of working fluid between a working chamber of a fluid working machine and a working fluid gallery comprises: a valve comprising a valve member and one or more cooperating valve seats; an actuator actuatable to apply a force to urge the valve member away from or towards the one or more valve seats; and a coupling between the actuator and the valve member. The coupling comprises a connector located at least partially within a tube. A connector void provided between at least a portion of the connector and the tube is in fluid communication with a working fluid gallery outlet.
Integral check valve lock open device for oil and gas equipment
An inventive lock open device for use with a poppet type check valve is disclosed. The device permits bidirectional flow of fluid or gas by defeating the check valve sealing device which permits hydrostatic testing without the need for check valve disassembly or the need for additional tooling.
FLUID SPLITTER, FLUID END AND PLUNGER PUMP
A fluid splitter, a fluid end, and a plunger pump are provided. The fluid splitter includes: a body having a shape of column and including a first end, a second end, and a side surface connecting the first end and the second end; a first opening, located at the side surface of the body; a first cavity, located at the first end; a first channel, communicated with the first opening and the first cavity, respectively, the first channel extending from the first opening to the first cavity and being configured to allow fluid to flow therethrough; a second opening, located at the side surface of the body; a second cavity, located at the second end; and a second channel, communicated with the second opening and the second cavity, respectively, the second channel extending from the second opening to the second cavity and being configured to allow fluid to flow therethrough.
Valve
A valve for a positive displacement pump, a valve seat, a valve body for use therewith, and a pump comprising such a valve are described. The valve comprises a valve body and a valve seat each having engagement surfaces which are configured, in use, to at least partially engage with one another when the valve is in a closed position to thereby mitigate fluid flow therethrough. The valve body is movable, in use, relative to the valve seat along a linear path of motion from the closed position to an open position, wherein at least a peripheral portion of the engagement surface of the valve body extends at an obtuse angle relative to the linear path of motion in the direction of motion from the closed position to the open position and wherein the length of the peripheral portion is at least 13% of the length of the engagement surface.
Valve and seat with seal
A valve and seat set has a seal coupled to the valve body, the seal surface comprising irregularities to allow pressure to propagate in-between the mating surfaces when pressure from the inside of the valve is equal to, or greater than, pressure from the outside of the valve. This allows the seal to lift in response to minimal differential pressure in the intended flow direction (from inside the valve), while effectively sealing pressure in the reverse direction (from outside the valve).
Resealable container cap
A resealable cap having a valve-type plug incorporated therein, and a device for manipulating the valve-type plug into a closed, sealed, position to maintain a decreased pressure in a container.
METHOD, SYSTEM, COMPUTER APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM FOR INSPECTING OPERATION PERIOD OF VALVE BOX
The disclosure relates to a method, a system, a computer apparatus, and a storage medium for inspecting an operation period of a valve box. The method for inspecting the operation period of the valve box includes at least one of a pressure of the liquid outlet, a stress of the housing, and an acceleration of the housing is acquired. Single operation periods of the valve box are calculated according to at least one of the pressure of the liquid outlet, the stress of the housing, and the acceleration of the housing. Finally, the single operation periods of the valve box are accumulated to obtain a total operation period of the valve box.
