FLUID PUMP
A fluid pump with a housing, a fluid duct which is provided in the housing, a temperature sensor which is assigned to the fluid duct in order to detect the temperature of a medium situated therein, and a metal thermally conductive element.
Transfer pump
A transfer pump. The pump is for displacing fluid and may generally include a housing; a pump including an impeller, the pump being disposed within the housing for creating suction to draw the fluid through the impeller; a motor for driving the pump; a battery operable to power the motor; and a sensor for sensing current drawn by the motor. The motor may be deactivated when the current drawn by the motor reaches a predetermined current value for a predetermined amount of time.
Variable speed drive with secondary windings
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a refrigeration system that includes a compressor configured to circulate refrigerant along a refrigerant loop, a motor configured to drive the compressor, and a variable speed drive coupled to the motor and configured to supply power to the motor. The variable speed drive includes a primary winding of a step down transformer coupled to an alternating current (AC) power source, a first secondary winding of the step down transformer, where the first secondary winding is configured to supply power at a variable supplied voltage to the motor when the motor operates below a threshold voltage, and a second secondary winding of the step down transformer, where the second secondary winding is configured to supply power at a fixed supplied voltage when the motor operates at or above the threshold voltage.
Module for a vacuum pumping and/or abatement system
A module for a vacuum pumping and/or abatement system. The module comprises a frame defining a space, a plurality of facilities inputs configured to receive facilities from a facilities supply, a plurality of facilities outputs configured to output the received facilities out of the module, and a plurality of facilities connection lines located at least partially within the space defined by the frame. The plurality of facilities connection lines connect the facilities inputs to the facilities outputs. The module further comprises a controller configured to control supply of facilities received at the facilities inputs out of the facilities outputs; and control operation of one or more vacuum pumping and/or abatement apparatuses remote from the module.
DRY-TYPE PRIMARY VACUUM PUMP AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE INJECTION OF A PURGING GAS
A dry-type primary vacuum pump includes an injection device to distribute a purging gas in the pumping stages. The injection device includes: a first pressure sensor arranged on a common portion of the distributor, a second pressure sensor arranged on each branch of the distributor, and a control unit to generate a pulse width modulation command signal for the control of the regulation valves independently of one another as a function of the pressure measurement differences between the first pressure sensor and the second pressure sensors.
SENSOR ASSEMBLY
A sensor assembly for use in an apparatus comprising at least one moving part and at least one stationary part is provided. The assembly comprises a probe and means for mounting the sensor to a stationary part of the apparatus. The probe comprises a portion of an incomplete circuit which, when completed, produces a signal. In use, when the probe is engaged by a moving part of the apparatus, a signal is produced. A vacuum pump or a compressor pump comprising the sensor and a method for preventing failure of an apparatus are also provided.
Compressor having casing and temperature detector thereon
A compressor includes a compression mechanism, a casing, and a temperature detector. The compression mechanism includes a rotation axis. The casing accommodates the compression mechanism. The casing includes a compression mechanism contact portion. The compression mechanism is in contact with an inner surface of the compression mechanism contact portion. The temperature detector is attached to an outer surface of the compression mechanism contact portion and is configured to sense temperature of the compression mechanism contact portion.
Gas compressor and method for controlling same
A gas compressor includes inverters, a plurality of compressor units and a control device for controlling each of the inverters. The control device increases the number of compressor bodies to be operated after confirming that the rotational speed of the operational motors will reach a steady value immediately after causing the number of the compressor bodies to be operated to increase.
ROTARY SLIDE ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD FOR MONITORING THE WEAR OF A SLIDE IN A ROTARY SLIDE ASSEMBLY
The invention relates to a rotary slide assembly and to a method for monitoring the wear of one or more slides in a rotary slide assembly, comprising a rotary slide rotor and one or more slide receiving areas for the slide(s) in the rotary slide rotor. The wear state of the one or more slides is detected during the operation or during a standstill of the rotary slide assembly. For this purpose, the slide(s) or one or more corresponding slide receiving areas in interaction with the one or more slides are used to generate or request an electric or electronic signal.
VIRTUAL SENSOR FOR WATER CONTENT IN OIL CIRCUIT
A method for monitoring an oil-injected screw compressor configured to compress aspirated air by returning oil from an oil separator vessel (11) to a compression chamber (12) of a compressor block (30), for condensate formation in the oil circuit due to a too low compression discharge temperature (VET), determines a water inlet mass flow {acute over (m)}.sub.ein(t) and a water outlet mass flow {acute over (m)}.sub.aus (t) for a point in time t and determines generated condensate flow Δ{acute over (m)}.sub.w (t)={acute over (m)}.sub.ein(t)−{acute over (m)}.sub.aus (t) on the basis of difference formation.
