A gyroscopic air handler provides a new powerful compact and efficient means to create airflow. At the core of the invention is a hubless magnetic chamber that rotates under its own power when acted upon by a composite electromagnetic duct. Composite field coils constructed from copper wire sheathed in a flexible iron sleeve are integrated into layers of Kevlar cloth and laid up with adhesive to create the desired shape as well as maintain the proper number of coils and spacing. Thrust bearings locate the hubless magnetic chamber within the duct. The invention can be retrofitted into the place of existing air handlers or purpose engineered for new applications. Gyroscopic inertia created by the magnetic chamber helps to dampen vibration as well as reduce the effects of unstable air conditions that can affect efficiency.

Modular low-noise motor

A modular fan cover assembly for inclusion on an electric motor is selectively configurable for degrees of reduced noise operation. The modular fan cover assembly includes a plurality of cooperating components arranged to direct fluid communication through the assembly. The components may include, for example, a fan cover defining a fan chamber for enclosing the fan, an inlet cover including an inlet chamber and a plurality of inlet apertures, and a silencing insert selectively includable with the fan cover assembly that may include one or more silencing features. The selective combination of the components can redirect airflow through various turns or bend in the modular fan cover assembly to trap or suppress noise propagating from the electric motor. The modular fan cover assembly may be operatively equipped with a blower assembly.

The present disclosure relates to electronically-controlled air assemblies having an inflation, a deflation, and a closed state for use with inflatable products, such as air mattresses. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to air assemblies where the configuration of the air assembly can be changed by a user operating a directional control valve to inflate, deflate, or close an inflatable product. The air assembly may also maintain a predetermined air pressure value within the inflatable product.

Motor and blower

A motor includes a rotating portion rotatable about a center axis that extends vertically and a stationary portion that rotatably supports the rotating portion. The stationary portion includes a stator facing at least a part of the rotating portion in a radial direction, a circuit board disposed axially below the stator, and a resin portion covering at least a part of the stator, and the circuit board. The stator includes a plurality of coils disposed in a circumferential direction. The circuit board includes an axially upper surface mounted with an electric element that is disposed at least at one of positions including a position between two coils of the plurality of coils, adjacent to each other in the circumference direction, and a position below the coil.

A turbo compressor includes a housing with a refrigerant suction hole, through which a refrigerant is introduced, at a front portion thereof, and a motor case defining an accommodation space. The accommodation space includes a rotation shaft extending in a front-rear direction and a motor that is configured to rotate the rotation shaft. A first impeller is coupled to one end of the rotation shaft and a second impeller is coupled to the other end of the rotation shaft. The first impeller is configured to primarily compress the refrigerant introduced into the refrigerant suction hole. A connection passage, that surrounds the motor case extends backward from an outlet of the first impeller. The second impeller is configured to secondarily compress the refrigerant introduced through the connection passage.
