Shaft Seal
A shaft seal for an exhaust fan. The seal limits leakage from within an exhaust fan housing around an exhaust fan drive shaft that extends between a rotational power source exterior to the exhaust fan housing and a position within the exhaust fan housing. The seal comprises a plenum generally positioned about the exhaust fan drive shaft at the point where the shaft extends into the fan housing; an auxiliary blower comprising a housing, an internal blade driven by an auxiliary blower drive shaft, and an auxiliary blower drive to rotate the drive shaft where the auxiliary blower drive is operatively associated with the rotational power source such that operation of the rotational power sources causes a rotation of the exhaust fan drive shaft and the auxiliary blower drive shaft; and a duct fluidly connecting the auxiliary blower housing to the plenum.
Motor-Driven Fan With Trapped Adhesive for Minimizing Vibration
HVLP (High Velocity Low Pressure) motor-driven fans and other types of fans, blowers and vacuums take advantage of different thermal and mechanical properties of dissimilar materials used in the motor-driven fans. The dissimilar materials include aluminum for a stacked arrangement of fan wheels and spacers, steel for a shaft that supports the fan wheels and spacers, and a polymeric adhesive. In some examples, the polymeric adhesive is trapped between the aluminum and steels parts. Compared to steel and aluminum, the adhesive has a relatively high coefficient of thermal expansion but relatively low strength such that thermal expansion of the adhesive exerts additional clamping pressure during startup and during high temperature operation. The additional clamping pressure reduces vibration and eliminates other causes of fan or motor failure.
IMPELLER RECEPTACLE
The invention relates to an impeller receptacle, in particular for an impeller of a fan, comprising at least one rotationally symmetrical body. The rotationally symmetrical body has a first end face, a second end face and a lateral face, wherein at least one radial bore extends radially from the lateral face into the rotationally symmetrical body and an assembly recess extends from the first end face into the radial bore. A detent ball having a ball diameter and a spring are arranged in the at least one radial bore, wherein the detent ball can be pressed radially outwards by means of the spring. The radial bore has at least one first, inner radial bore diameter and a second, outer radial bore diameter, the second, outer radial bore diameter being smaller than the ball diameter.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A ROTARY FAN
A rotary fan system with dual rotation axes, wherein a driving arm rotates about a first axis, and trailing arm rotates about a second axis.
Shaft sleeve assembly, blade mounting structure and air conditioner
Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide a shaft sleeve assembly, a blade mounting structure and an air conditioner. The shaft sleeve assembly is configured to connect a blade shaft and a motor shaft and includes: a blade shaft sleeve a first end of the blade shaft sleeve being configured to be connected with the blade shaft; and a motor shaft sleeve, a first end of the motor shaft sleeve being configured with be connected to the motor shaft and a second end of the motor shaft sleeve being connected with a second end of the blade shaft sleeve and at least one of the blade shaft sleeve and the motor shaft sleeve is an injection molded member.
Axial-flow impeller and air-conditioner having the same
An axial-flow impeller includes a hub and blades. A tail edge of one blade has recessed portions successively arranged in a direction from a blade root of the blade to an outer edge of the blade. On a reference projection of the impeller on a reference plane perpendicular to a rotation axis of the impeller, a first connection line connects a starting point of a first recessed portion closest to the blade root and an end point of a second recessed portion closest to the outer edge, a second connection line connects a tail edge point of the blade root and the end point of the second recessed portion, one or more of the recessed portions is each partially located at a front-edge side of the second connection line, and remaining one or more of the recessed portions is each completely located between the first and second connection lines.
AIR BLOWER
A bottomed rotor member includes a rotor member bottom portion that forms a bottom portion of the bottomed rotor member while an opening hole is formed in the rotor member bottom portion to extend through the rotor member bottom portion in an axial direction of a fan central axis. A fan boss includes: a fan boss bottom portion that is stacked on the rotor member bottom portion in the axial direction and forms a bottom portion of the fan boss; and a bottom portion rib that projects from the fan boss bottom portion toward the rotor member bottom portion side at a corresponding location of the fan boss bottom portion that is overlapped with the opening hole in the axial direction while the bottom portion rib promotes discharge of air from the inside of the bottomed rotor member through the opening hole in response to rotation of the fan.
TWIST-BREAKABLE MECHANICAL FUSE AND COOLING UNIT OF A TURBINE ENGINE FITTED WITH SUCH A FUSE
The invention relates to a mechanical fuse intended to be rigidly mounted between a drive unit (8, 9), and a receiver unit (10), each rotating about the same axis (7) of rotation, said fuse comprising a body (13) extending in a longitudinal direction parallel to said axis (7) of rotation, once the fuse is mounted between said drive unit (8, 9) and receiver unit (10). The invention is characterized in that said body (13) comprises a plurality of longitudinal bars (14), each bar (14) being deformable by bending, such as to form a twist-breakable mechanical fuse.
Fan clutch
A fan clutch, in particular for a fan of a cooling system of a motor vehicle having a housing and an annular flange for connecting the fan, wherein the flange is arranged centrally around a housing axis, wherein the flange forms a flat flange-ring plane substantially perpendicular to the housing axis and has a flange-ring inner side and a flange-ring outer side which bound the flange-ring plane, wherein the flange is contorted in the flange-ring plane in certain areas in a direction substantially parallel to the housing axis.
Fluid machine
This fluid machine includes a motor housing, a rotating shaft which is inserted through the motor housing, an impeller which is mounted on a protruding portion of the rotating shaft, and a facing portion which faces the motor housing on a first end side in the axial direction. A first opening is provided on the first end side of the motor housing, a second opening is provided on a second end side of the motor housing, and an in-housing passage fluidly couples the first opening with the second opening. The fluid machine further includes an exhaust passage which is formed between the motor housing and the facing portion and which fluidly couples the first opening with external air, and a rotating blade which is disposed between the first opening and the exhaust passage, wherein the rotating blade is mounted on the rotating shaft and is rotatable with the rotating shaft.
