Disclosed are a drainage pump structure and a cleaning base station. The drainage pump structure includes: a drainage cavity with a water inlet, a water outlet and an air port; a one-way valve at the water inlet forming a unidirectional flow path to allow fluid to flow toward the drainage cavity, and another one-way valve at the water outlet forming a unidirectional flow path to allow fluid to flow away from the drainage cavity; and an air source system communicated with the air port and configured to supply air to the air port, suck air from the air port, and adjust an air amount of the air port. The drainage pump structure of this application makes water and impurities during drainage not pass through the air source system, prolongs the service life of the air source system and improve the reliability of the air source system.

A method of vertically transporting emulsion explosive includes, using a pump, pumping a predetermined volume of emulsion explosive, from an emulsion explosive reservoir, into a vertically extending pipe, wherein pumping is effected airtightly at least between the pump and a downstream end of a volume of emulsion explosive that has been pumped into the vertically extending pipe for at least a part of the travel of emulsion explosive of the predetermined volume of emulsion explosive down the vertical pipe.

Various embodiments of the teachings herein include a method for the compression of a gas comprising: introducing the gas into a compression chamber; pumping a liquid from an intermediate container into the compression chamber; and pumping at least part of the liquid from the compression chamber to a sprinkling system through a sprinkling circuit.
