A conveying unit (1) for a fuel cell system (31) for conveying and/or recirculating a gaseous medium, in particular hydrogen, comprising a jet pump (4) driven by a driving jet of a pressurized gaseous medium, and comprising a metering valve (6) with a nozzle (12), wherein: the conveying unit (1) is designed as a combined valve jet pump assembly (2); the gaseous medium is fed to the jet pump (4) by means of the metering valve (6); the jet pump (4) has a main body (8); and the jet pump (4) is connected to an anode inlet (3) of a fuel cell (29). According to the invention, a deflection and/or change of direction of the gaseous medium which flows in a flow direction VII from the jet pump (4) to the anode input (3) of the fuel cell (29) occurs exclusively in the deflection region (22), said the jet pump (4) having a separate closure cover (5) connected to the main body (8), and the deflection region (22) and/or the deflection- or guiding geometry of the deflection region for the gaseous medium (22) is formed exclusively in the component of the closing cover (5).

Pump apparatus and underwater trenching apparatus

A pump apparatus comprises a primary pump having a relatively low pressure fluid input and a relatively high pressure fluid output and means, associated with said primary pump fluid input, operable where the ambient pressure is insufficient substantially to prevent cavitation in the primary pump, to locally increase the pressure at said primary pump fluid input.

Ejector

An approximately conical passage-forming member is disposed inside a body in which a swirling space for swirling a refrigerant is formed, and an ejector defines therein a nozzle passage that functions as a nozzle for depressurizing a refrigerant that has flowed out from the swirling space between an inner circumferential surface of the body and the passage-forming member, and a diffuser passage that pressurizes a mixed refrigerant obtained from a refrigerant sprayed from the nozzle passage and a refrigerant drawn from a suction-passage. A plurality of driving passages through which a refrigerant is introduced from a distribution space to the swirling space are formed in the body. In this case, the driving passages are formed in a manner such that a refrigerant flowing in from each driving passage into the swirling space flows along an outer circumference of the swirling space and flows in directions different from each other. Accordingly, nozzle efficiency is sufficiently improved.

There is provided a pneumatic pump (10) comprising a tubular steel frame (11) and a disc-shaped pressure vessel (12) including a lower, tangential transfer port (14) and an upper, radial ventilation port (15). A transfer assembly (16) on the port (14) includes an inlet assembly (17) having a positive-close non-return valve (21) and a delivery outlet assembly (20). A venturi assembly (22) applies suction to the ventilation port (15) and has an exhaust vent (24) including a closure assembly (25) selectively operable to cycle between a suction phase and a pressurized phase. A two way T-valve (40) selectively allows venturi exhaust air to pass selectively into either a diffuser/muffler (35) or a delivery line (42) downstream of an outlet non-return valve.

Quick-release vacuum pump

A quick-release vacuum pump which is mainly applied to a vacuum transport system. The vacuum pump has a mechanism in which part of compressed air supplied for generating a vacuum state is stored firstly in a chamber, and then the vacuum state within the chamber is released when transportation is completed. When the vacuum state is released, a check valve is moved by the pressure of air that flows backward. The range of movement of the check valve is adjusted by a control means. An air filter is disposed at the lower end of the check valve. The release of the vacuum state is quick and controllable. Also, the filter is naturally filtered and cleaned.
