POLYMERIC COMPOSITE INSERT COMPONENT FOR A SCROLL COMPRESSOR
An insert component for a scroll compressor comprises a polymer and at least one reinforcing or lubricating particle. The insert component comprises an annular body and an axial projection. The annular body defines a first centrally-disposed opening having has a central axis extending therethrough. The annular body has a first side comprising a first contact surface configured to engage a partition plate and a second side a second contact surface configured to engage a floating seal assembly. The first contact surface defines a slope between first and second radial locations. The axial projection extends from the annular body and can be received in a second centrally-disposed opening of the partition plate. The insert component can fluidly seal both a first interface between the first contact surface and the partition plate and a second interface between the second contact surface and a floating seal assembly during operation of the scroll compressor.
Robust triboelectric nanogenerator based on rolling electrification
A generator for converting mechanical energy or hydropower or wind energy into electrical energy is disclosed. The generator includes a first member and a second member in contact with the first member to generate triboelectric charges. The second member rolls against the first member to generate a flow of electrons between two electrodes. Another embodiment of the generator includes two electrodes, and a member in contact with the two electrodes to generate triboelectric charges. The member rolls against the electrodes to generate a flow of electrons between the two electrodes.
WIND TURBINE ROTARY CONNECTION, ROTOR BLADE, AND WIND TURBINE COMPRISING SAME
A wind power installation rotary connection, in particular a blade bearing or azimuth rotary connection, wherein the rotary connection is in the form of a plain bearing assembly, comprising an inner ring having a number of first plain bearing surfaces, an outer ring having a number of second plain bearing surfaces which are respectively associated with one of the first plain bearing surfaces as a plain bearing surface partner, and wherein the plain bearing assembly is in the form of a dry-running plain bearing assembly.
TRIBOELECTRIC TURBINE FOR GENERATING ELECTRICITY FROM THE MOTION OF FLUIDS
The present disclosure relates to a rotary triboelectric generator, device comprising different triboelectric materials for generating electricity, said generator comprising: a rotor shaft; a first triboelectric material plate fixed on said shaft; a bracket framework for receiving at least a second triboelectric material plate; a second triboelectric material plate fixed in said framework; arranged such that the first triboelectric plate comes into successive contacting and sliding against the second triboelectric plate, when said rotor shaft rotates, wherein both the first triboelectric material plate and the second triboelectric material plate are flexible plates. In particular, the first triboelectric material plate and the second triboelectric material plate are flexible plates having a different stiffness. In particular, the plate or plates fixed on the shaft are flexible and the plate or plates fixed on the brackets are stiff or flexible but less flexible than the plate or plates fixed on the shaft.
FLUID FILM BEARING FOR A WIND TURBINE
A fluid bearing for a wind turbine includes: a bearing housing, a plurality of bearing pads inside the bearing housing and circumferentially distributed around a longitudinal axis of the fluid bearing, a plurality of supporting structures, each supporting structure having at least a first interface detachably connected to a respective seat provided in the bearing housing and at least a second interface detachably connected to a respective bearing pad of the plurality of bearing pads, each supporting structure allowing tilting of the respective bearing pad with respect to the bearing housing.
WAVE POWER GENERATION DEVICE INCLUDING WIRE
A wave power generation device of the present invention includes: a buoy floating on the sea; a power generator generating electrical energy or hydraulic energy; a power transmitter connecting the buoy and the power generator to each other; and a wire having a first end and a second end connected to the buoy or the power transmitter and changing in tension by motions of the buoy.
PUMP DEVICE FOR CASTING PROCESSES
A pump device includes a drive unit, a pump unit and a transport unit. The drive unit includes a base frame, and a variable-speed drive device disposed on the base frame. The pump unit includes a rotating shaft driven by the drive device, a fan blade co-rotatably mounted to the rotating shaft, a drain housing receiving the fan blade, and a suction housing in fluid communication with the drain housing. The transport unit includes a plurality of transport tubes in fluid communication with the drain housing.
Preparation method of PTFE-based membrane for preventing and removing ices covering wind turbine blades and use thereof
A preparation method of a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)-based membrane for preventing and removing ices covering wind turbine blades is provided and the method comprises: preparing a membrane into a PTFE rod material with polymerized monomers by using monomer polymerization methods such as blending, pre-compressing and pushing; making the membrane into a PTFE-based homogeneous membrane with micropores and nano and micron scale concave-convex geometrical ultra-structure morphologies under the condition that the membrane is cracked to generate a laminar exfoliated fabric-like structure in the hot calendaring process of the PTFE rod material by using a hot calendaring and fusion polymerization method; and applying the PTFE-based homogeneous membrane to blades of a large wind turbine in operation.
