FLAME DETECTOR LENS MAINTENANCE SYSTEM
A maintenance system for a flame detector in an enclosure for an industrial machine, such as turbomachine, is disclosed. The maintenance system may include a conduit having an inlet at an exterior of the enclosure and an outlet at an interior of the enclosure. The outlet is adjacent the flame detector. The maintenance system also includes a source of air and a valve fluidly coupling the inlet of the conduit and the source of air. The valve is configured to deliver a compressed air from the source of air through the outlet of the conduit onto a surface of the flame detector, thereby removing contaminants from the surface and/or cooling the surface. A controller can be provided to automatically operate the cleaning and cooling system when a fault signal is observed.
Tooling assembly for magnetically aligning components in an additive manufacturing machine
A tooling assembly for mounting a plurality of components, such as compressor blades, in a powder bed additive manufacturing machine to facilitate a repair process is provided. The tooling assembly includes component fixtures configured for receiving each of the compressor blades, a mounting plate for receiving the component fixtures, and a magnet assembly operably coupling the component fixtures to the mounting plate in a desired position and orientation to facilitate an improved printing process.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HOISTING GAS ENGINE ASSEMBLIES
A hoist for lifting at least a portion of a gas engine assembly includes a support member including an upper portion, a lower portion, and a connecting portion extending therebetween. The hoist also includes an elongate member coupled to the lower portion of the support member and extending substantially orthogonally to the lower portion, and at least one bracket slidably engaged with the elongate member and axially translatable along a length of the elongate member. In addition, the hoist includes a plurality of linkage members coupled to the at least one bracket, where each linkage member of the plurality of linkage members is configured to attach to at least a portion of the gas engine assembly.
GAS TURBINE ENGINE WITH ACOUSTIC LINER
An assembly for a gas turbine engine has: a fan case with a forward end, an aft end, and an inner surface extending from the forward end of the fan case to the aft end of the fan case; an acoustic liner having a forward end, an aft end, and an acoustic liner body that extends continuously from the forward end of the acoustic liner to the aft end of the acoustic liner; an inlet case located forward of the forward end of the fan case, the forward end of the acoustic liner being secured to the inlet case, and wherein the acoustic liner body is positioned against an inner surface of the inlet case and an inner surface of the fan case, and the aft end of the acoustic liner is secured to the fan case between the forward end and the aft end of the fan case.
HOUSING FOR A ROTOR OF AN ENGINE
A housing for a rotor of an engine is provided. The housing forms an interior space for accommodating the rotor that is defined by a housing wall and the housing wall (W) circumferentially surrounds the rotor that is accommodated inside the housing. The housing has at least one service opening which is provided in the housing wall for maintenance and/or repair work and through which the interior space is accessible from the outside. The service opening is provided in the area of two facing flange sections of the housing, wherein the service opening is closed by at least one closure part that is received at least partially inside a gap formed between the facing flange sections and fixated therein in a releasable manner.
GAS TURBINE ENGINE CASE FIXTURE ASSEMBLY WITH PLATFORM ADAPTOR
A fixture assembly includes a support stand, a support platform and a platform adaptor. The support platform is rotatably coupled to the support stand and rotatable about an axis. The support platform extends circumferentially about a centerline angularly offset from the axis. The support platform extends longitudinally along the centerline to a platform top surface. The platform adaptor is disposed on the platform top surface and attached to the support platform. The platform adaptor includes a case receptacle formed by an adaptor top surface and an adaptor shoulder surface. The platform adaptor extends longitudinally along the centerline to the adaptor top surface where the adaptor top surface is configured to longitudinally engage and support the case. The platform adaptor extends radially relative to the centerline to the adaptor shoulder surface where the adaptor shoulder surface is configured to radially engage and position the case on the adaptor top surface.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR TURBINE SHIPPING/OPERATION
A support assembly supports a gas turbine in a manufacturing configuration, a shipping configuration and an operating configuration. The support assembly includes a stand leg securable to a base, where the stand leg includes a turbine casing interface with a slot sized to receive a turbine casing pin. A support plate attachable to the turbine casing interface includes a pin aperture that is sized to fit over the turbine casing pin in the slot.
Inflatable device with guiding mechanism for effective engine cleaning
An inflatable device equipped with a guiding mechanism and methods of installing the inflatable device to form a temporary barrier within a gas turbine engine are provided. In one aspect, an inflatable device includes a backbone and an inflatable bladder connected thereto. The backbone is formed of a flexible and inextensible material. The inflatable bladder is formed of an expandable material. To install the inflatable device within an annular chamber of a gas turbine engine, the backbone is inserted into a first access port of the engine and is moved circumferentially around the annulus of the chamber. The backbone is retrieved through a second access port. The inflatable bladder is moved into position within the chamber by pushing the backbone into the first access port and/or pulling the backbone out of the second access port. When positioned in place, the inflatable bladder is inflated to form an annular seal.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO MOVE TURBOMACHINERY
A system includes a turbine housing, a turbine mount disposed in the turbine housing, and a turbine moving machine disposed at least partially within the turbine housing. The turbine moving machine includes a turbine support configured to couple to a turbine and a first translational portion coupled to the turbine support. The turbine moving machine is configured to move the turbine lengthwise along the first translational portion between a first turbine position within the turbine housing and a second turbine position outside of the turbine housing. The turbine moving machine includes a vertical adjustment assembly configured to raise and lower the turbine.
SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING MOBILE POWER
The present invention discloses a system for providing mobile power, in which the required equipment for the power supply system at fracturing fields as well as connection cables and connection hoses are integrated properly, assigned onto three transport vehicles for movement and effectively connected. Intake components and a turbine generation system are combined on a first transport vehicle and installed together, then transported to customer sites directly, thus saving the installation time at the user sites. The two different designs on the locations of an exhaust stack and an exhaust silencer not only meet the requirements of road transportation, but also meet the requirements of exhaust gas emission during operations.
