Blower housing assembly structure
A blower housing assembly structure includes a locking base formed by aluminum die casting and two opposite casing covers disposed on both sides of the locking base respectively. The locking base has two opposite side connecting plates, each having a connection part formed at the top of the side connecting plate, and a side of each casing cover has an intake vent, and the two casing covers have two opposite half-extended pipe sections extending from the edges of the locking base connection part respectively, so that the half-extended pipe sections of the two casing covers are engaged to form an exhaust vent of a housing. This invention has the advantages of simple structure, easy assembling, effective alignment and high stability and the effects of preventing damages by vibration and reducing the noise during operation.
Backward curved plenum fan having enhanced efficiency
A centrifugal fan for use as a blower in a heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) system has a plurality of blades each having a leading edge camber angle of at or about 10 degrees to at or about 30 degrees, a trailing edge camber angle of at or about 10 degrees to at or about 30 degrees, a stagger angle of at or about 35 degrees to at or about 55 degrees, and a chord having a length L, wherein the length L over the diameter of the centrifugal fan divided by the diameter D satisfies the inequality 0.25≤L/D≤0.42. The fan blades having these parameters provide improved fan efficiency at certain operating conditions. The fan blades may further have a forward or radial sweep. The fan blades may have a uniform thickness from the leading edge to the trailing edge.
FAN COVERING WITH HIGH RECYCLE CONTENT AND HIGH THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY
Disclosed is a covering of a fan unit of an information handling system. The covering contains a bottom covering and a top covering. The bottom covering contains i) copper and an first aluminum alloy, or ii) 10 wt. % to 50 wt. % of a thermally conductive plastic, and 50 wt. % to 90 wt. % of a post-consumer-recycled (PCR) plastic and/or biodegradable plastic. The top covering contains copper and a second aluminum alloy. The bottom covering houses a motor and blades of a fan of the fan unit, the top covering abuts against the bottom covering, and the fan is positioned in a space formed between the bottom and top covering. Fan unit containing the covering, and an information handling system containing the fan unit is also disclosed.
IMPELLER
The present invention relates to an impeller comprising: a shroud having a plurality of spiral upper slot units formed therein; a hub located to face the shroud; and a plurality of blades connected to the hub and inserted into the upper slot units to be coupled to the shroud, wherein the blade includes a body portion formed to be inclined to one side and an upper end portion, which is bent upward from the body portion and has a second concave surface formed in one side and a second convex surface formed on the other side thereof, and the upper slot unit includes an upper slot bottom for forming a space in which the upper end portion is inserted; an upper slot wall divided into a first upper slot wall located at the second concave surface side and a second upper slot wall located at the second convex surface side; and a second inclined surface formed to be inclined from the first upper slot wall so as to face the second concave surface. Thus, the impeller secures the assembling of the blades and has the effect of reducing the possibility of separation of the blades during the high-speed rotation of the impeller, which improves the structural rigidity of the impeller.
OXIDATION AND WEAR RESISTANT COATING
A method includes applying a material coating on a surface of a machine component using a thermal spray, wherein the material coating is formed from a combination of a hardfacing material and aluminum-containing particles. The method also includes thermally treating the material coating to generate an oxide layer comprising aluminum from the aluminum-containing particles, wherein the oxide layer is configured to reduce oxidation of the hardfacing material.
BLADE SHIELD REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT
Aspects of the disclosure are directed to milling a nose of a first shield of a blade to leave at least one strip of the first shield coupled to a blade body, subsequent to the milling, applying a cryogenic technique to the blade to weaken a bond between the first shield and the blade body, and subsequent to the applying of the cryogenic technique, removing the at least one strip of the first shield from the blade body.
COATING PROCESS FOR APPLYING A BIFURCATED COATING
A coating process for applying a bifurcated coating to an article is disclosed including applying an aluminizing slurry to a first portion of the article, applying a chromizing slurry to a second portion of the article, and simultaneously heat treating the article, the aluminizing slurry, and the chromizing slurry. Heat treating the aluminizing slurry forms an aluminide coating on the first portion of the article and an aluminide diffusion zone between the article and the aluminide coating. Heat treating the chromizing slurry forms a chromide coating on the second portion of the article and a chromide diffusion zone between the article and the chromide coating. The first portion and the second portion are both maintained in an unmasked state while applying the aluminizing slurry and the chromizing slurry and during the heat treating.
MANUFACTURE METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR TURBINE ENGINE ACOUSTIC PANELS
An acoustic panel for a gas turbine engine, includes a panel body, a panel-body cover, and a support bracket. The panel body is configured to dampen vibrations caused by the gas turbine engine. The forward support bracket is configured to mount the acoustic panel to portions of the gas turbine engine.
METHOD FOR REPAIRING A FAN CASING
A method for repairing a fan casing in which the inner surface is damaged, includes attaching a reinforcement element to the fan casing, the reinforcement element being attached to the outer surface of the fan casing opposite the damage.
ASSEMBLED TURBINE HOUSING
An exhaust gas turbine is provided. The exhaust gas turbine includes a first turbine housing part having insulating material extending along an interior surface and a second turbine housing part having insulating material extending along an interior surface, the second turbine housing part coupled to the first turbine housing part to form a volute directing exhaust gas to a turbine wheel.
