CEILING SYSTEM
A grid hanger assembly for mounting a ceiling system to an overhead support structure. The grid hanger assembly may include a mounting bracket having a mounting element and being configured for attachment to the overhead support structure and a hanger member. The hanger member may include an adjustment plate and a coupling member extending from the adjustment plate. The adjustment plate may include a plurality of mounting elements arranged in an axially spaced apart manner. The hanger may be mounted to the mounting bracket in a selected mounting position of a plurality of selectable mounting positions determined by sliding the hanger member relative to the mounting bracket in a direction of the vertical axis until a selected one of the plurality of mounting elements of the hanger member is aligned with the mounting element of the mounting bracket. A fastener may lock the hanger member to the mounting bracket.
INSERT FOR MOUNTING MULTIPLE CABLES IN CABLE HANGER
An insert for mounting multiple cables in a cable hanger includes: a gripping portion configured to engage multiple cables; and a wrapping portion attached to the gripping portion and configured to wrap around the gripping portion as it receives cables.
FASTENING DEVICE
A fastening device (1) is adapted to fasten a recessed object (30) to a wall. The object has at least one through hole (20) and includes a rod (2), a bracket (3), and a locking element (4). Systems also include at least one fastening device (1) and a recessed object and procedures for the installation of the systems.
Optical retaining device
An optical mount for holding an optical element includes a mounting block having an aperture and an optical element adapted to fit within the aperture. A retaining clip is secured to the mounting block and extends across the optical element. The clip is a thin sheet of flexible material comprising contact straps that overlie edge portions of the optical element. The clip is connected to the mounting block by fasteners.
Spring steel wire harness clip
A mounting clip and a mounting assembly include a mounting structure and the mounting clip. The mounting structure includes a mounting feature. The mounting clip includes a base, an inferior leg, and a catch. The base has a through hole therein. The inferior leg is disposed on an anterior side of the base. The catch is disposed on a posterior side of the base. The inferior leg and the catch are configured to engage the mounting structure when the mounting clip is assembled to the mounting structure, such that the mounting feature is accessible through the through hole when the mounting clip is assembled to the mounting structure. The mounting clip also includes a superior leg having a mounting aperture.
Grounding Clip
A resilient grounding clip including: a head having an aperture disposed in the head; a first leg having a proximate end connected to a first edge of the head, where the first leg is disposed at an obtuse angle relative to a first surface of the head; a second leg having a proximate end connected to a second edge of the head, where the second leg is disposed at an obtuse angle relative to the first surface of the head, and where the first edge is opposite the second edge; a first tab connected to the first leg at an end distal from the end connected to the head; and a second tab connected to the second leg at an end distal from the end connected to the head.
Spring Clamp for Construction of Plant Cages and Trellises
A thin, flat, generally rectangular form, constructed of resilient material forming a spring plate clamping device for the removable attachment of horizontal plant support rods onto upright stakes, thereby facilitating the construction of plant cages to support and protect vegetation.
Strut hanger
Technology is provided for a strut hanger for connecting a strut to a hanger rod includes a hook portion configured to engage the exterior surface of the hanger rod, a lever portion, a fulcrum disposed between the hook portion and lever portion, and a strut tab extending from the lever portion and configured to engage a strut. Load placed on the strut tab causes the lever portion to act against the fulcrum to force the hook portion against the hanger rod, thereby supporting the strut from the hanger rods without fasteners attached to the hanging rods. The strut hanger can include a clip extending from the lever portion to engage the hanger rod and maintain a minimum load on the lever.
CLIP FOR HOLDING TWO FLAT ELEMENTS, ASSEMBLY COMPRISING SUCH A CLIP
A clip for holding two flat elements joined together at their main face. The clip comprises a lower wall, an upper wall, and two side walls, the walls defining a closed volume. The side walls are provided with a groove having an end that opens into a face referred to as the “front face” of the clip. The grooves are configured to insert the clip by its front face onto the two joined flat elements and are each delimited by a contour having an upper segment and a lower segment opposite the upper segment. According to the present disclosure, the side walls each have, on their respective outwardly facing faces, a flat holding flange that extends along a rectilinear portion of the lower segment of the groove and provides a contact surface with one of the flat elements. The present disclosure also relates to an assembly comprising such a clip.
CEILING SYSTEM
Described herein is a method for mounting a grid hanger assembly of a ceiling system. The ceiling system, in one embodiment, includes a grid support member, ceiling panel, and grid hanger configured to support the grid support member in a suspended manner from an overhead structural support. The grid hanger includes a mounting bracket configured for attachment to the structural support and a hanger member. The hanger member is adjustable in a plurality of selectable mounting positions relative to the mounting bracket, thereby allowing the mounted height of the grid support member to be adjusted in the field. In some embodiments, the hanger member is further angularly adjustable relative to the mounting bracket to avoid installation obstacles.
