Configurable stacking chairs with quick-connect interchangeable backs
The present disclosure relates to configurable stacking chairs having a standard seat base frame design to which different interchangeable seat backs can be quickly and easily attached. The seat base frames and the interchangeable seat backs may include corresponding quick-connect features that allow selective attachment therebetween. The interchangeable seat backs may be attached to a standard seat base frame via a magnetic connection. Each interchangeable seat back can have a different unique design allowing for a quick change of appearance by exchanging one interchangeable seat back design for another. The interchangeable seat backs and the standard seat base frames can be stored separately and take up less space than completely assembled or fixed back chairs.
FURNITURE SYSTEM AND RELATED METHODS
A leg includes an outer surface, an inner surface, a first wall, a second wall, a first seam, and a second seam. The inner surface is opposite the outer surface. The first wall extends from the outer surface to the inner surface. The second wall is coupled to the first wall and extends from the outer surface to the inner surface. The first seam is formed in the inner surface. The second seam is spaced apart from the first seam and formed in the inner surface. The second seam forms a first non-parallel angle with the first seam and a second non-parallel angle with the first wall.
Connection device for tubular elements
An assembly of two profiled elements that each have a medial longitudinal edge and two longitudinal edges which are joined together by their medial edge and are kept movable apart from one another through a predefined limited travel. A cylindrical orifice passes perpendicularly through the medial longitudinal edge and a cylindrical element having dimensions that match the cylindrical orifice butts against the medial longitudinal edge such that the spacing of the medial edges causes the longitudinal edges to butt against the inner wall of the tubular element. A further embodiment is a connection kit for tubular elements and a tubular structure joined together by way of connection devices. The connection produced is either reversible or permanent.
Splice coupling for connection of tubular handrail sections
An improved handrail splice for use in coupling cylindrical handrail components comprises a generally cylindrical splice having a scalloped outer surface defining a plurality of first and second grooves, with the first grooves being characterized as large grooves circumferentially spaced along the outer surface and a plurality of smaller second grooves disposed between the first grooves. The large grooves are sized to receive and maintain a quantity of adhesive therein to ensure a secure adhesive connection between exterior of the tubular splice and the interior handrail surface. The smaller second grooves receive a smaller quantity of adhesive and further function to anchor the splice relative to the hand rail sections by press-fit engagement. A longitudinal slit bounded by a pair of projecting tabs allows for the temporary reduction of the splice to facilitate inserted installation of the splice within a tubular hand rail component.
MULTI-WAY PIPE CONNECTOR FOR TUBULAR FRAME
A multi-way pipe connector for a tubular frame, applied to connect a plurality of connection tubes so as to form the tubular frame, includes a main connector body, a plurality of connection protrusions and a plurality of elastic O-rings. The connection protrusions are extending individually in corresponding extension directions from the main connector body, and each of the connection protrusions has an outer wall including at least one annular groove. Each of the plurality of elastic O-rings is to sleeve one said corresponding annular groove of the respective connection protrusion so as to form a dimensional interference fit relationship with an inner wall of the corresponding connection tube sleeving the connection protrusion.
Twistable and stackable shelf and connecting device thereof
A twistable and stackable shelf includes storage members, an elastic member, a first supporting pipe, a second supporting pipe, a first connecting member, and a second connecting member. Each of the first and second connecting member includes an end portion defining an inserting hole and an inserting portion defining a bottom groove and fluidly connected to the inserting hole. Two ends of the elastic member are inserted into the inserting holes and extend to the bottom grooves; two hooking members are arranged in the bottom grooves. The first and second supporting pipes form a vertical arrangement through the first and second connecting members and support the plurality of the storage members in a vertical direction. Or, the first and second supporting pipes form a horizontal arrangement through the first and second connecting members, and the storage members are twisted and stacked in the vertical direction.
KIT FOR ASSEMBLING A PIECE OF FURNITURE
A ready made furniture or kit for assembling a piece of furniture optionally with computer-implemented devices for monitoring behavior of at least one habitant, which may be feline; said system comprising: a plurality of furniture connectors assemblable into mountable furniture assembly units; at least one linking member configured for interconnecting said vertically mountable assembly units and sensors and data processing for monitoring behaviour.
Quick-connect assembly and furniture with the same
A quick-connect assembly and furniture incorporating the same are provided. The quick-connect assembly comprises a first connector and a second connector that are detachably coupled by relative rotation. The first connector features a recess with inwardly protruding helical segments, each having a first helix angle and spanning an arc of less than 180 degrees. The corresponding second connector has an insertion part with outwardly protruding helical segments, each having a matching second helix angle and spanning an arc of less than 180 degrees. When engaged and rotated, the helical segments of the second connector slide along and abut against the support surfaces of the helical segments on the first connector. A rotation limiting mechanism, comprising an elastic element and a limiting groove, restricts the relative rotation between the connectors to no more than 360 degrees by means of the elastic element being received in the limiting groove upon their abutment. This application thereby provides a simple and reliable quick-connect mechanism.
