The mounting device comprises a first flange configured to be fitted under a mounting surface and a second flange configured to be inserted in the first flange. The second flange has a first section that is configured to provide a second flange orifice for inserting the mounting member, a second section having a plurality of threads for receiving the first flange, a third section having a plurality of threads, and a fourth section having a plurality of threads. A compression nut having an inner surface is configured to pass over the mounting member and tightened on the fourth section of the second flange over the plurality of threads. A ring is configured to be fitted over the mounting member and between the fourth section of the second flange and the compression nut.
ONE WAY FASTENER
The present invention relates to innovative fasteners for joining two or more objects together.
Thrust nut
A nut main body has a slanted hole with a smaller inner end portion having a plurality of stepped portions of differing height. This gives the slanted hole a differing depth relative to a large-diameter end portion of the slanted hole at a plurality of locations about a circumference of the slanted hole. A plurality of nut segments are slidable within the slanted hole and come into contact with at least one of the stepped portions. The nut segments have screw threads at an inner wall surface. A washer is provided at a large-diameter side of the plurality of nut segments. A bias spring is attached within the nut main body so as to urge the plurality of nut segments towards the small-diameter side of the nut main body with the washer therebetween. A stopper piece holds the bias spring within the nut main body.
NUT FASTENER ASSEMBLY
A nut fastener assembly includes a nut assembly and a fastening clip. Opposite sides of the bottom of the nut assembly are provided with a pair of protrusions. The fastening clip includes a pair of lugs arranged on opposite ends of the fastening clip and extending towards the nut assembly, and a pair of receiving channels configured to respectively penetrate the pair of lugs. At least one of the pair of lugs is an adjustable lug including a blocking part and an elastic part. The distal end of the elastic part is movable relative to the distal end of the blocking part. The corresponding protrusion in the pair of protrusions can enter the corresponding receiving channel through a space between the distal end of the blocking part and the distal end of the elastic part to be held in the receiving channel.
MOUNTING DEVICE FOR A MOUNTING MEMBER
A mounting device for a mounting member is disclosed. The mounting device comprises a first flange configured to be fitted under a mounting surface, a second flange configured to be inserted in the first flange. Further, the second flange having a first section that is configured to provide an orifice for inserting the mounting member, a second section having a plurality of threads for receiving the first flange, a third section having a plurality of threads, and a fourth section having a plurality of threads. Further, a compression nut, having an inner surface, is configured to pass over the mounting member and tightened on the fourth section of the second flange over the plurality of threads. Thereafter, a ring is configured to be fitted over the mounting member and between the fourth section of the second flange and the compression nut.
Quickly slideable and incrementally adjustable barrier
A barrier for the inside of a home. The barrier includes two partitions that slide relative to each other to increase and decrease a distance between ends of the barrier. The partitions slide into and out of confronting relationships with each other. The partitions engage each other at upper and lower locations and further at a medial location where an elongate member of one partition is received in a tube engaged to the other partition. A threaded piece upon being turned brings pressure to bear upon an end of the tube such that the partitions can be incrementally expanded apart and thereby pressurized between two locations within the home so as to block off one portion of the home. The threaded piece is slideable along the elongate member.
Electromagnetic effect protective fastener with swageable termination body
An electromagnetic effect suppressing termination part for a fastener formed of a metallic material, the fastener having a head, a shank, and a male threaded portion opposite the head, has a metallic core coated by a layer of dielectric material. An internal bore of the termination part includes an inner wall, a counterbore hole, and a cavity disposed therebetween. An outer surface includes an outer wall, and a frustoconical wall positioned proximally relative to the outer wall, the frustoconical wall extending radially outwardly from the outer wall and having an included angle of less than approximately 90 degrees. A seal is disposed in the counterbore hole, and the frustoconical wall is configured so that a compressive force applied to the frustoconical wall deforms the inner wall to conform to the male threaded portion of the fastener and deforms the seal to fill the cavity.
SELF DRILLING BOLT AND NUT
A drilling bolt-and-nut assembly for attaching rigid panels, including a drilling bolt and a grooved nut. The drilling bolt includes a cylindrical screw-thread section, an external thread-diameter, and an internal thread-diameter; a drill-bit section; and a thread-less section interconnecting the screw-thread section, the drill-bit section. The grooved nut has a through cylindrical opening formed at the center of the nut, wherein the cylindrical wall of the cylindrical opening of the grooved nut is threaded with threads that are operatively compatible with the threads of the drilling bolt. The drill-bit section includes at least two cutting-blades, wherein the at least two cutting-blades are spaced apart. At least two grooves are formed in the wall of the through cylindrical opening, wherein the grooves are spaced apart similar to the peripheral distance between the cutting-blades of the drill bit-section.
FIXTURING SYSTEM FOR WOODWORKING
A device for use with a wood-based structural element having an outer surface and inner surfaces defining a T-slot, wherein the T-slot has a central section that is open at the outer surface, and has a pair of undercut sections projecting from opposite sides of the central section, and the inner surfaces of the structural element include a pair of inner surfaces facing inward, the device comprising: a T-nut having an outer portion receivable in the central section of the T-slot, a screw-threaded bore, and an inner portion with a pair of clamping surfaces projecting from opposite sides of the outer portion; wherein the bore has a nominal cross-sectional area for receiving a threaded fastener, and the clamping surfaces on the T-nut have a combined surface area of about 10 times the cross-sectional area of the bore; and wherein the T-nut is configured for use with a wood-based structural element.
INSTALLATION NUT
The present disclosure discloses an installation nut comprising a body, an upper cover, at least two threaded blocks, and a transmission member. The upper cover is fixedly connected to the body. An inner wall of each of the at least two threaded blocks comprises an internal thread, and an outer wall of each of the at least two threaded blocks comprises a first inclined surface and a first straight surface. The transmission member is movably disposed between the body and the upper cover. A top surface of the transmission member comprises one or more transmission blocks configured to extend out of the upper cover. A lower end of the transmission member comprises at least one second straight surface configured to couple with the first straight surfaces and at least one second inclined surface configured to couple with the first inclined surfaces.
