Frameless solar module mounting
In an example, a clamp assembly for a glass on glass solar module for a tracker is included. The assembly has a lower clamp structure characterized by a top-hat shaped rail structure having a length extending from a first end to a second end. In an example, the assembly has an upper clamp structure configured to sandwich a pair of edges of a pair of solar modules with a portion of the lower clamp structure. In an example, the assembly has a locking spacer configured to the pair of edges of the pair of solar modules. In an example, the pair of edges comprises substantially glass material. In an example, the assembly has a pair of key structures configured with the locking spacer. Each of the key structures is affixed to each of the solar modules to physically lock each of the solar modules to the upper clamp structure.
HIDDEN FASTENER UNIT AND RELATED METHOD OF USE
A fastener unit and related method for securing a board to a support is provided. The fastener unit includes a spacer block, a grip element extending from the spacer block and configured to fit in and engage a groove of the board, and one or more board engagement elements extending from a portion of the spacer block. The board engagement elements can clamp the board, between an upper and/or lower surface of the board and a groove of the board, thereby securing the spacer block in a position adjacent the groove to establish a gap between the board and another board. Related methods of use also are provided.
SELECTIVELY SECURABLE GRILL COVER
A grill cover is configured to be utilized with a grill having a metallic component, the grill cover includes a cover body, a magnetic fastener, and a secondary fastener. The cover body presents an outer edge disposed along a bottom side and a cover void therein configured to receive the grill therein. The magnetic fastener and the secondary fastener are each secured to the cover body. The magnetic fastener is configured to provide a magnetic force to keep the magnetic fastener selectively secured to the metallic component of the grill so as to keep the cover body in place around the grill therein. The secondary fastener is configured to reduce a cross-sectional area of the cover void so as to prevent the grill cover from being removed from the grill while the secondary fastener is emplaced.
WIRE COVER AND MOUNTING BRACKET
A photovoltaic panel wire cover assembly, used with a PV panel having a perimeter trim piece, includes clips, an elongate wire cover and fastener structure. Each clip includes a proximal end and long and short legs, the long leg parallel with and joined to the short leg at the clip proximal end. A gap between the long and short legs is sized for receipt of the trim piece. The wire cover includes a wire-covering housing defining a housing interior and having first and second opposite sides and a first flange extending from the first opposite side and positioned against the long leg. The fastener structure engages the short leg and the first flange to bias the first flange and the long leg therewith towards the short leg. The wire cover can be fastened to the trim piece through the clips without penetrating the PV panel.
ARRAY MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
A versatile wall mounting assembly is disclosed. The assembly may include a first section extending parallel to a wall structure, a second section extending from the first section, wherein the second section includes a free end, and a third section extending from the first section. The third section may be oriented perpendicular to the first section. The assembly may further include a faceplate couplable with the wall plate, the faceplate including an outer side opposite an inner side, wherein a plurality of ridges extend towards the wall plate from the inner side. The plurality of ridges may include a first ridge in abutment with the second section of the wall plate, a second ridge in abutment with the second section of the wall plate, and a third ridge extending beneath the third section of the wall plate.
Latch with a built-in adjustment mechanism
A method and apparatus is provided for adjusting a latch. An apparatus comprises a latch body, a first member, and a second member associated with the latch body. A receiving area extends through at least a portion of the latch body. The first member is configured to be at least partially received within the receiving area of the latch body. The first member has a first coupling element. The second member has a second coupling element. Movement of the first member along an axis through the receiving area changes a distance between the first coupling element and the second coupling element.
PANEL MOUNTED GLASS BRACKET ASSEMBLY
A bracket for securing a panel is provided, the bracket including a panel contact member including an interface portion. Also provided are a first clamp member having a first clamp surface contact portion and a first clamp adjustable portion operable to interface with the panel contact member interface portion and a second clamp member having a second clamp surface contact portion positioned such that it is facing toward the first clamp surface contact portion of the first clamp when the first clamp adjustable portion is interfacing with the panel contact member interface portion, such that the first and second clamp surface contact portions are facing inward towards each other. A securing member is operable to secure the first clamp member to the panel contact member, the securing member positioned substantially perpendicular to the first and second clamp surface contact portions.
FIXING DEVICE
The fixing device includes a limiting structure and a movement portion. The limiting structure is extended along a first direction and has an accommodation space and at least one pair of hooks disposed at a terminal end of the limiting structure. The extending directions of the at least one pair of hooks are opposite to each other and parallel to a second direction. The movement portion moves relative to the limiting structure. When a bottom of the movement portion is disposed above the at least one pair of hooks, the at least one pair of hooks has a first distance therebetween in the second direction. When the bottom of the movement portion overlaps the at least one pair of hooks in the second direction, the at least one pair of hooks has a second distance greater than the first distance therebetween in the second direction.
RING CLIP
A ring clip for connecting two wire mesh panels. The clip has a first arm and a second arm. The arms connected at respective first ends by a hinge. A second end of the first arm defines a recess which is adapted to receive a second end of the second arm when the clip is in a closed condition. The first arm includes a first tab, and the second arm includes a second tab, such that, in the closed condition the first and second tabs are substantially opposed. The first and second tabs are substantially misaligned laterally.
Systems and methods for a connector
A connector is provided. The connector includes a post defining a first side, a second side, and a first end. The connector further includes a stationary wing formed on the first side of the post and extending away from the first side of the post. The stationary wing is inflexible relative to the post. The connector further includes a flexible wing attached to the second side of the post adjacent to the first end and extending away from second side of the post. The flexible wing is configured to flex relative to the post.
