Connector for a tube assembly in a passenger seat
Described are base frame assemblies for a passenger seat having an elongated tube and a connector. The elongated tube may include an inner surface, an outer surface, and a connecting aperture extending from the inner surface to the outer surface. The connector may include a first end, a second end, a central opening extending from the first end to the second end, a first stopper at the first end, a second stopper proximate to the second end, a contact surface between the first stopper and the second stopper, and an adjustment slot defined as extending from the first end to the second end. The connector may be positioned within the connecting aperture such that a portion of the elongated tube contacts the contact surface between the first stopper and the second stopper that may together overlap a portion of the inner surface and outer surface of the elongated tube.
BUTTON ASSEMBLY
A button assembly for a telescopic hot stick is provided. The button assembly comprises a button housing, a button, and a fastener. The button housing defines a cavity and at least one groove, and the cavity has a bottom cavity surface. The button is disposed in the cavity and the button has a first end and a second end. The second end is configured to face the bottom cavity surface. The fastener is disposed within the at least one groove, and the fastener is positioned adjacent the second end of the button. The fastener is spaced apart from the second end to collectively define a gap between the second end and the fastener.
Dual purpose lift pedestal
A dual-purpose lift pedestal for use in recreational vehicles having a top and bottom base plate, a housing moveable between a down position, an up position and an extended position, the housing having an upper tube, a middle tube, and a lower tube, a first set of slider pads supporting a second end of the upper tube within the middle tube, a second set of slider pads supporting the second end of the middle tube within the lower tube, a spring cage supporting within the middle tube, a pair of springs at least partially supported within the spring cage with the springs co-acting to assist the movement of the housing between the various position, and a locking member to maintain the housing at the upper position and at the down position.
Systems and methods for capturing and recovering unmanned aircraft
Systems and methods for capturing unmanned aircraft and controlling post-recovery motion of the aircraft are disclosed herein. An aircraft system in accordance with one embodiment of the technology, for example, includes a base assembly and an aircraft capture member attached to and extending from the base assembly. The aircraft capture member has a distal region positioned to intercept an unmanned aircraft in flight. The aircraft capture member comprises an elongated telescoping rod including a plurality of discrete segments having a telescoping arrangement relative to each other. The aircraft capture member is configured to elongate or pay out from a first initial length to a second extended length greater than the first length after an unmanned aircraft intercepts and engages the distal region of the aircraft capture member.
TELESCOPING STICK FOR TESTING EMERGENCY SAFETY SYSTEMS
An improved telescoping stick for testing emergency safety systems is disclosed. The telescoping stick retracts so that the user can easily carry the stick throughout a commercial building without inconveniencing the people in the building, and it extends so that the user can easily reach test or reset buttons on emergency devices, such as emergency lights and exit signs. The end of the improved telescoping stick includes a rotatable tip on a ball-and-socket swivel that allows the tip to be orientated in any direction to reach a button of any configuration.
Leg retention clip
Provided is a leg retention clip for a leg of a tripod and a tripod assembly that includes the leg retention clip. The leg retention clip can be inserted inside a hollow-out inside of a first leg section with slots/holes which output protruding edges of the leg retention clip. When a second leg section is fitted over the first leg section, the protruding edges of the leg retention clip can stop movement of the second leg section and help lock the second leg section in place with respect to the first leg section. If the leg of the tripod includes more than two leg sections, the leg can be provided with multiple leg retention clips.
Telescopic tube with adjustment memory function
A telescopic tube is disclosed. By pressing and rotating a switching button, an abutting section is aligned to a first hole of an outer tube and then elastically pushed by an elastic member, a pin section of the switching button is released from engagement with a fastening hole of the inner tube, and the position of the inner tube in the outer tube can be adjusted individually. After the inner tube is adjusted completely and the switching button is pressed to rotated again, the pin section is inserted into the fastening hole, the engaging section is engaged in the first hole. When the switching button is pressed, the movement of the inner tube makes the switching button release from the first hole and the third hole, and the inner tube, the control assembly and the inner mounting member are retractable in the through hole of the outer tube.
BUTTON ASSEMBLIES FOR EXTENSION POLES
A button assembly is provided that includes a plug, a button, and a biasing member. The plug can be received in an inner pole section. The button is slidably received in the plug for movement between a locked position extended from the plug and an unlocked position retracted with respect to the plug. The biasing member biases the button to the locked position. The button has a land region, a cammed region, and a locking edge. The cammed region slopes from the land region in a direction towards the locking edge. The land region is remote from any pinch point formed between the plug and the locking edge.
Ceiling fan motor adapter
A motor adapter assembly can couple a motor shaft for a ceiling fan motor to a downrod. The motor adapter assembly can include a base plate, a cradle with arms extending through the base plate, and a threaded bushing secured between the arms of the cradle. Threading a cap to the threaded bushing can be used to pivot the downrod between an upright position and a pivoted position.
Foldable three-section clamping device
A foldable three-section clamping device is disclosed, comprising a first support unit, provided with a rotatable first pivot member, a first extension member extending from middle of the first pivot member, and the first support unit having a clamp for clamping at a place; a second support unit, provided with a rotatable second pivot member, and a second extension member extending from middle of the second pivot member, the first extension member and the second extension member being mutually docked and both being rotatable along the same axis; a clamping unit being disposed on the second support unit, and the clamping unit further comprising a first clamping arm, an extension member and a second clamping arm, the extension member being disposed on the first clamping arm and adjustable by sliding, the second clamping arm being disposed on the extension member and adjustable by sliding.
