A vehicle actuator cable assembly is provided. The cable assembly may include a rail, a pulley, a cable, and a dampener sleeve. The rail may be attachable to a vehicle panel and the pulley may be rotatably coupled to the rail. The cable may include a wire that is movable by the pulley and a cover that partially surrounds a portion of the wire. The dampener sleeve may define an outer wall and an inner wall that surrounds a portion of the cover. The inner wall may define protrusions that inwardly extend from the inner wall so that the protrusions engage a portion of the cover.

FASTENING A BOWDEN CABLE ELEMENT TO A FORCE-TRANSMISSION ELEMENT

A force-transmission device for an actuation mechanism of a movable vehicle element. The force-transmission device includes a movably held force-transmission element, a Bowden cable element having an end, an end piece fastened to the end of the Bowden cable element, and a stop. The movably held force-transmission element is held in a manner preloaded in a first direction into an end position by a preload force and is movable in a second direction opposite to the first direction in order to transmit an actuating force for the actuation mechanism. The end piece of the Bowden cable element is held against the movably held force-transmission element. The movably held force-transmission element transmits, in the end position, at least a portion of the preload force to the end piece of the Bowden cable element, and the end piece is held so as to be pressed against the stop.

An arrangement for isolating vibration of Bowden cable-actuated components includes a Bowden cable, an actuation element coupled at one end to the Bowden cable and including a mounting eye, a damping element arranged in a positive-fit connection in the mounting eye, and a transmitter element supported within the damping element for actuating the Bowden cable such that it can be deflected. The damping element includes an elastic grommet having a defined recess lying in a specified deflection direction of the transmitter element. In a non-actuated state, the transmitter element is disposed at a centered position within the elastic grommet and is movable into contact with the mounting eye due to the effect of a deflecting actuation force under compression of the elastic grommet in an area of the recess.

Remote control assembly

A remote control assembly includes a sheath having a longitudinal axis along a length thereof and defining an interior. A liner is disposed within the interior and coupled to the sheath. A wire has an outer surface and the wire disposed between and coupled to the sheath and the liner. The outer surface of the wire defines a plurality of notches separated into a first group of notches and a second group of notches. Each notch within each of the first and second groups defines a first distance therebetween substantially along the longitudinal axis. The first group of notches and the second group of notches define a second distance therebetween. The second distance is greater than the first distance.

Ball joint connector

A ball joint connector for connecting an elongated element to a ball pin includes a socket having a cylindrical cavity for receiving a ball of a ball pin with an opening at one end and a dome-shaped end wall at the opposite end, and a clip disposed at least partially within the cavity and dimensioned to encompass more than the upper hemisphere of the ball, the clip being moveable between a locking position and a retracted assembly/disassembly position characterized in that the clip is arranged to extend, in its locking position, in abutment with the surface of a ball received in the cavity on opposing sides of the ball on each side over a portion of the upper hemisphere and with its lower end portion over an adjoining surface portion of the lower hemisphere.

Cable anchoring device for vibration isolation

A cable anchoring device includes: a vibration isolation member including a damper; a socket; and a cap. A rib is formed in at least one of the socket and the cap is inserted into a portion of the damper. The vibration isolation member is inserted into a hole formed in the cap. The socket is coupled to the cap. In a state where the rib has been inserted into the portion of the damper, a void is formed in the portion of the damper.

TGS cable socket including rubber damper and method of manufacturing the same

A Transmission Gear Shift (TGS) cable socket including a rubber damper to couple a TGS lever and an outer cable to each other so a manipulation force of the TGS lever is transmitted to a transmission through an inner cable disposed in the outer cable, may include the rubber damper to damp vibration transmitted from the outer cable, a steel cup disposed coaxially with the rubber damper, the steel cup having a first end disposed in the rubber damper, and a second end protruding from the rubber damper and coupled to the outer cable, and a guide pipe disposed coaxially with the rubber damper, the guide pipe including a first end disposed in the rubber damper at a position spaced apart from the steel cup, and a second end protruding from the rubber damper.

DOOR APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE

A door apparatus for a vehicle includes: an actuator unit including an actuator that generates a driving force for driving a vehicle door for opening or closing an opening portion formed in a vehicle body by relatively moving to the vehicle body or a driven body that is a locking device built in the vehicle door and is configured to hold a state where the vehicle door closes the opening portion, and an actuator housing that accommodates at least a part of the actuator; and a cable unit connecting the driven body and the actuator unit to each other, and transmits a driving force of the actuator to the driven body, The cable unit includes a flexible outer tube, an annular member, and a flexible inner cable, the supporting portion includes suppressing portions, and the annular member includes a damper.

Terminal supporting apparatus for control cable

A terminal supporting apparatus is provided with: a hub that is attached to an end of the outer cable and is provided with a flange on an outer periphery; a cushion member that is provided to surround the outer periphery of the hub and abuts on the flange at both a front surface and a back surface of the flange; and a housing that houses the cushion member. The cushion member includes a large-diameter portion that abuts on the flange. At least within a range contacting with the hub, at least a part of an outer peripheral surface of the large-diameter portion is fixed to an inner surface of the housing, while a clearance is formed between the cushion member and the inner surface of the housing over an entire region of an end surface of the large-diameter portion in a cable axis direction.
