The present invention relates to a bearing arrangement (104) connectable to a shaft (102), the bearing arrangement comprising a bearing (105, 105′) comprising a plurality of rolling elements (110) arranged to rotate relative to an inner raceway (302) for said bearing arrangement; and a ring shaped contact element (114, 114′) having an extension in an axial direction thereof, the ring shaped contact element further comprising a first contact surface (402) adapted to face the plurality of rolling elements, wherein an inner diameter of the ring shaped contact element at the axial position of the first contact surface has a larger diameter in comparison to a diameter (412) of the inner raceway, such that a continuous radial gap (414) is provided in the circumferential direction between the ring shaped contact element and the inner raceway when the bearing arrangement is connected to the shaft, wherein the radial gap (414) is arranged to be provided in fluid communication with a lubricating flow channel (306) of the shaft when the bearing arrangement.

HYBRID MODULE BEARING INSTALLATION

A hybrid module includes a first component, a second component, a first bearing, and a retainer. The first component has a pilot surface and a threaded portion, and the second component has a shaft and a tool. The tool has a first drive profile. The first bearing is installed on the pilot surface and the retainer is threaded onto the threaded portion. The retainer has a second drive profile, complementary to the first drive profile. A second bearing may be installed between the first component and the shaft, and a retaining ring may be installed in the shaft or the first component to prevent axial displacement of the shaft relative to the first component. The retainer may be disposed on a first axial side of the first bearing, and the second bearing may be disposed on a second axial side of the first bearing, opposite the first axial side.

The contact portion of the end face of a conical roller, which is a portion to be slidingly contacted with a collar portion, is ground such that the outer contour line of the section thereof has a continuously curved line which passes through at least not only the first point but also between the third position and fourth position.

Bearing assembly having cylindrical rolling elements

A bearing assembly having cylindrical rolling elements, an inner ring, an outer ring, and a plurality of cylindrical rolling elements arranged radially between the internal raceway and external raceway. The inner ring includes an annular shoulder that protrudes with respect to the internal raceway, a fillet in the form of a circular arc being defined between the annular shoulder and internal raceway. The outer ring has an annular shoulder that protrudes with respect to the external raceway, the annular shoulder of the outer ring being housed axially between the annular shoulder of the inner ring and the cylindrical rolling elements. The annular shoulder of the outer ring is provided with an annular chamfer in the immediate vicinity of the fillet defined on the inner ring.

TAPERED ROLLER BEARING

In the tapered roller bearing, at least any one of an outer ring, an inner ring, and a plurality of tapered rollers includes a nitrogen enriched layer. An oil retaining hole is provided in a larger annular portion of a cage. A value of a ratio R/R.sub.BASE is not smaller than 0.75 and not greater than 0.87 where R represents a set radius of curvature of a larger end face of the tapered roller and R.sub.BASE represents a distance from a point which is an apex of a cone angle of the tapered roller to a larger flange surface of the inner ring. A ratio R.sub.process/R is than not lower 0.5 where R.sub.process represents an actual radius of curvature after grinding of the larger end face of the tapered roller and R represents a set radius of curvature.

Double-row self-aligning roller bearing and protrusion prevention jig

A double-row self-aligning roller bearing has rollers interposed, in two rows aligned in a bearing width direction, between an inner ring and an outer ring. The outer ring has a spherical raceway surface. Each of the rollers has an outer circumferential surface having a cross-sectional shape that matches the raceway surface of the outer ring. Either or both of shapes and contact angles of the rollers are different from each other. An attachment hole to which a protrusion prevention jig is attachable is provided in an end surface of at least either one of the inner ring and the outer ring. The protrusion prevention jig prevents protrusion of the end surface of the inner ring in the bearing width direction with respect to the end surface of the outer ring.
