BEARING ASSEMBLY FOR ELECTRICAL GENERATOR
A bearing assembly for an electrical generator includes a frame, a bearing liner and a ring. The frame is configured to connect with a housing of an electrical generator. The frame includes a frame opening and is made from a first material. The bearing liner connects with the frame. The bearing liner is made from a second material, which is dissimilar from the first material. At least a portion of the bearing liner passes through the frame opening. The ring surrounds the bearing liner. The ring contacts the frame and the bearing liner and maintains a clearance between the portion of the bearing liner passing through the frame opening and the frame.
Self-lubricating hinge assembly made from composite material and operating under high dynamic loads
This assembly includes a ball joint assembled in a casing, and receiving an axle capable of sliding and/or rotating therein. The ball joint is formed from the winding of a fabric of small thickness ranging between 20 μm and 150 μm and mixed with a resin comprising fillers. The fabric has the form of strips having a width ranging between 5 mm and 200 mm; the strips being crossed in several layers.
COMPOSITION FOR SLIDING MEMBER AND SLIDING MEMBER
A sliding member includes a substrate, a first coating film layer which is provided on the substrate, and a second coating film layer which is provided on the first coating film layer. The first coating film layer including a coating film including a composition for a sliding member. The composition for a sliding member contains a binder resin, a solid lubricant, and at least one type of resin beads selected from the group consisting of amino resin beads and urethane resin beads. The second coating film layer includes the binder resin and the solid lubricant.
Rod End Made of Thermoplastic Fiber-Reinforced Plastic
The present invention achieves a high mechanical load capacity of a rod end by means of a component loop that passes around a bearing, where the component may be made of continuous-fiber reinforced composite material with thermoplastic matrix and where the continuous-fiber reinforced composite material with thermoplastic matrix may extend into a threaded stem of the rod end, and the component made of continuous-fiber reinforced composite material with thermoplastic matrix may be enclosed by short-fiber reinforced, long-fiber reinforced, or unreinforced thermoplastic. The threaded stem can be implemented with an external or an internal thread.
SOLENOID LOW FRICTION BEARING LINER
The present disclosure relates to a low friction bearing liner for a solenoid that may include a core layer, a first outer layer overlying a first surface of the core layer, a second outer layer overlying the first outer layer, a first inner layer overlying a second surface of the core layer that is opposite of the first surface of the core layer, and a second inner layer overlying the first inner layer. The first outer layer and the first inner layer may include a fluoropolymer material and may have a melt flow rate of at least about 2 g/10 min at 372° C. The second outer layer and the second inner layer may include a fluoropolymer material distinct from the fluoropolymer material of the first outer layer and may have a surface coefficient of friction of not greater than about 0.2.
Self-lubricating composite friction part
Disclosed is a self-lubricating composite friction part (1) that can be subjected, during operation, to temperatures that are at least equal to 250° C. The part includes, along the friction surface (2), a single layer of a material consisting of weft and warp yarns made of polytetrafluoroethylene, the material being impregnated with a thermostable resin having a glass transition temperature that is at least equal to 250° C. It is applied to a reinforcing layer (3).
