BEARING WITH REMOVABLE SEALING MODULE
A bearing provides a first ring and a second ring capable of rotating concentrically relative to one another, and at least one seal provided with at least one sealing lip. The bearing further includes a sealing module providing a carrier reversibly secured to the first ring, the seal being mounted radially into contact with the carrier, a friction ring reversibly secured to the second ring, the sealing lip of the seal coming into contact with the friction ring, and at least one spacing element axially interposed between the friction ring and the second ring.
ROLLING BEARING WITH REMOVABLE SEALING MODULE
A rolling bearing providing a first ring and a second ring capable of rotating concentrically relative to one another, at least one row of rolling elements arranged between first and second raceways of the first and second rings, and at least one seal provided with at least one sealing lip. The first ring includes at least one first rolling ring having the first raceway and a first sealing ring secured to the first rolling ring. The second ring further includes at least one second rolling ring having the second raceway and a second sealing ring secured to the second rolling ring. The bearing also further includes a sealing module reversibly secured to the first and second sealing rings.
Screw conveyor with lower thrust bearing
A screw conveyor is provided for lifting a sludge from a collection point. The conveyor includes a lower bearing assembly having a post with a thrust bearing attached to the top, which can be inserted in a socket in the shaft component of the screw. The base of the post is attached to a plate, and the plate can be bolted to the intake end of the tube component of the conveyor. The inner bearing assembly and the intake end of the shaft of the screw are contained within the interior of the tube, such that a seal between the shaft and the plate, which serves as an end cap of the tube, is not required. In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the relative positions of the post and socket can be reversed, with the socket attached to the plate to the intake end of the tube, and the post attached to the shaft component of the screw.
Motor bearing with anti-rotation spring for electrical submersible well pump
A submersible pump electrical motor has a bearing hub between adjacent rotor sections. The bearing hub has a hub outward facing sidewall and a hub inward facing hub sidewall through which the shaft extends. A collar having a collar inward facing sidewall is rigidly mounted to the hub outward facing sidewall. The collar has a collar outward facing sidewall spaced from stator sidewall by an annular clearance. A slit in the collar extends from the collar inward facing sidewall to the collar outward facing sidewall. An anti-rotation spring has a supporting portion inwardly biased against the hub outward facing sidewall and a locking portion protruding outward through the slit into engagement with the groove to prevent rotation of the hub and the collar.
Rapid movement loader slot bearing suitable for use on munitions deployment structures
A loader slot bearing includes an annular housing having first and second axial surfaces and an interior area extending therebetween. The interior area has a first inner surface that extends between the first and second axial surfaces. A portion of the inner surface is a first bearing surface that has a spherical contour. A slot extends partially into the first inner surface from the first axial surface. The slot has a first width. The annular housing is manufactured from a precipitation hardened corrosion resistant stainless steel. The loader slot bearing includes a truncated ball that is positioned in the slot and rotated so that the truncated ball is rotatably retained by the first bearing surface. The truncated ball is angularly misalignable relative to the housing and is manufactured from a 440C stainless steel. A dry lubricant is applied to the spherical exterior surface of the truncated ball.
Friction material
A friction material comprises an Fe part which contains Fe as a main component, a coating layer formed on a surface of the Fe part, and a friction part formed on a surface of at least a part of the coating layer, and the coating layer comprises a first coating layer and a second coating layer which have a specific average thickness and a specific component in order from Fe part side, and in the second coating layer, in order of positions at which the thickness is 20%, 40%, 60% and 80% of the second coating layer from the side of the first coating layer to the side opposite thereto, a Cu content increases and a Ni content decreases.
Wheel bearing arrangement having a coating
A wheel bearing arrangement for a motor vehicle includes a wheel hub. The wheel hub is connected to a wheel flange. A multi-row rolling element bearing is mounted on the wheel hub. The bearing has an outer ring and at least one inner ring which is axially prestressed by a collar of the wheel hub. A zinc flake coating is formed on at least part of the wheel bearing arrangement to improve corrosion protection.
Rolling bearing for refrigerant compressor
A rolling bearing having an inner raceway and an outer raceway and a plurality of rolling elements arranged therebetween. The rolling bearing is media-lubricated or oil-free lubricated. The lubricant forms an elasto-hydrodynamic lubricant film between the rolling elements and the raceways. At first use of the rolling bearing, at least one surface of the rolling bearing is coated with a protective fluid, preferably an oil-based preservative fluid. Also, a refrigerant compressor having such a rolling bearing.
AXIAL LOAD CAPABLE TORQUE TUBE ASSEMBLY & MANUFACTURING METHODS THEREOF
An assembly and a method for manufacturing an assembly for transmitting torque to an aircraft actuator. The assembly and method include a torque tube having a longitudinal axis and an end fitting. The ending fitting includes a connector portion and an engagement portion that is inserted into the torque tube. The engagement portion includes a first end adjacent the connector portion, a second end opposite the first end, and a coupling region between the first and second end that includes an outer coupling surface having an outer diameter and a continuous groove formed thereon. The continuous groove includes two axial grooves that extend along the outer coupling surface along the longitudinal axis and a first parallel groove that extends circumferentially about the longitudinal axis along the outer coupling surface that joins the two axial grooves.
