Method for adjusting the play in a high-lift system of an aircraft
A method for adjusting play in a high-lift system of an aircraft with several flaps, moved by a drive unit with the aid of driving stations connected to a driveshaft, includes disengaging the mechanical connections between the driveshaft and the driving stations in the first position, displacing the individual drive levers by mechanically driving a gear input of the associated rotary actuator such that the individual drive levers come into mechanical contact with a stop in a second position, spaced apart from the first position, and are pretensioned by a certain torque, rotationally fixing the gear inputs of the rotary actuators, adapting the length of connecting links between the respective drive levers and a support arm carrying the associated flap such that a position of the associated flap corresponding to the position of the stop is reached, and reconnecting the driving stations to the driveshaft pretensioned to have no play.
NO-BACK DEVICE WITH ENERGY-DISPERSING SPRINGS
A no-back device for resisting feedback torque from an actuator. The no-back device comprises: a flange arranged to receive torque via a shaft; a ratchet assembly comprising a ratchet wheel arranged parallel to the flange; and a braking assembly comprising a resistance wheel, which is sandwiched between the flange and the ratchet wheel, and a braking device, which acts on the resistance wheel to generate a resistive angular force reacting against torque exerted on the resistance wheel. The braking device comprises a follower arranged to roll, under bias from a spring in the braking device, on a cam surface extending around a circumferential perimeter of the resistance wheel. Radial displacement of the follower energizes the spring to generate resistive angular force.
Roller clutch
A roller clutch for a window shade includes a housing, a bead chain wheel, and a roller adapter. Transmission of movement from the bead chain to the roller adapter depends upon the force applied by the bead chain to the roller clutch.

TORQUE LIMITING DEVICE
A torque limiting device comprises an input shaft, an output shaft and a machined torsion spring having a first end and a second end. The first end and the second end of the torsion spring are coupled to the both the input shaft and the output shaft, whereby torque is transmitted between the input shaft and output shaft via the torsion spring. The couplings between the torsion spring and the input shaft and the output shaft permit limited relative rotation between the input shaft and the output shaft. The device further comprises a jamming mechanism operable in response to relative rotation between the input shaft and output shaft to stop rotation of both the input shaft and the output shaft.
REVERSE INPUT CUTOFF CLUTCH
The reverse input cutoff clutch includes: a pressed member having a pressed surface around the inner peripheral surface; an input member coaxially arranged with the pressed surface and having an input-side engaging portion arranged on the radially inner side of the pressed surface; an output member coaxially arranged with the pressed surface and having an output-side engaging portion arranged further on the radially inner side than the input-side engaging portion; and an engaging element arranged so as to be movable in a first direction as a direction toward or away from the pressed surface on the radially inner side of the pressed surface. The engaging element has a main engaging element body having a pressing surface and a pivot-support shaft, and a link member. The link member has a first end portion pivotally linked to the pivot-support shaft, and a second end portion pivotally linked to the input-side engaging portion.

BLOW BACK PREVENTION DEVICE, AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
An aircraft flap blow back prevention device includes a first ball-ramp plate, and output coupling engaged therewith, rotatable about an axis. A second ball-ramp plate is disposed adjacent the first plate such that ball-ramp surfaces thereof are opposed, with a ball therebetween, and such that first and second braking surfaces thereof oppose respective first and second stationary braking structures. A spring biasing the first plate toward the second plate spaces apart the first braking surface and first braking structure. An input shaft axially extends through the first and second plates in a lost window arrangement, wherein an absolute value of rotational torque applied to the output coupling, greater than rotational torque applied to the input shaft, causes the ball to urge apart the plates and the braking surfaces thereof to be urged against the respective braking structures to cease rotation of the output coupling. An associated method is also provided.
