Bypass for a suspension damper
A vehicle suspension damper comprises a cylinder and a piston assembly including a damping piston along with working fluid within the cylinder. A bypass permits fluid to avoid dampening resistance of the damping piston. A fluid path through the bypass is controlled by a valve that is shifted by a piston surface when the contents of at least one predetermined volume is injected against the piston surface which acts upon the valve. In one embodiment, the bypass is remotely operable.

REMOTELY OPERATED BYPASS FOR A SUSPENSION DAMPER
A damper assembly with a bypass for a vehicle comprises a pressure cylinder with a piston and piston rod for limiting the flow rate of damping fluid as it passes from a first to a second side of said piston. A bypass provides a fluid pathway between the first and second sides of the piston separately from the flow rare limitation. In one aspect, the bypass is remotely controllable from a passenger compartment of the vehicle. In another aspect, the bypass is remotely controllable based upon one or more variable parameters associated with the vehicle.

Shock absorber with bidirectional selective block, wheel group and motorcycle thereof
Shock absorber having a main sheath and a main piston sliding inside the main sheath in a sliding direction (X-X), the main piston including a main rod coming out of the main sheath and a main head contained inside the main sheath, the main sheath being filled with hydraulic fluid, a secondary sheath fluidically connected to the main sheath and provided with at least one damping valve, where the secondary sheath is connected to the main sheath by a first and a second passage placed at opposite ends to the main head of the main piston, along the sliding direction (X-X), the secondary sheath including a control valve movable, according to a regulation stroke, between an unlocking position, in which it does not interfere with the first and second passages, and a blocking position, where it occludes the first and second passages so as to realize a selective two-way block.
Regulable vibration damper
A regulable vibration damper may comprise a cylinder barrel that contains hydraulic fluid in a sealed manner, a piston that can be moved axially within the cylinder barrel along a cylinder barrel axis and that subdivides the cylinder barrel into two working chambers, a piston rod that is oriented parallel to the cylinder barrel axis and is connected to the piston, a valve assembly arranged at a fluid feed through to damp piston movement in an actuating direction, and a bypass duct between the two working chambers. The bypass duct may comprise a first throughflow cross section for a first throughflow direction, wherein the first throughflow cross section differs from a second throughflow cross section for a second throughflow direction. Further, the bypass duct may be formed, at least in part, by an outflow passage that is arranged on an exit side of a pilot valve for adjusting pilot pressure.
ACTIVE VALVE FOR AN INTERNAL BYPASS
A vehicle suspension damper includes: a cylinder and a piston assembly, wherein the piston assembly includes a piston; a working fluid within the cylinder; a bypass cylinder surrounding the cylinder and defining a cylindrical bypass channel; an adjustable bypass port fluidly coupling an interior of the cylinder and the cylindrical bypass channel; and an active bypass valve coupled with the cylindrical bypass channel, the active bypass valve configured to adjust a working size of the adjustable bypass port to modify a flow of said working fluid through the adjustable bypass port.
Adjustable internal bypass
A vehicle suspension damper includes: a cylinder and a piston assembly, wherein the piston assembly includes a piston; a working fluid within the cylinder; a bypass cylinder surrounding the cylinder and defining a cylindrical bypass channel; an adjustable bypass port fluidly coupling an interior of the cylinder and the cylindrical bypass channel; and a remotely operable bypass valve slidably disposed within the cylindrical bypass channel, the remotely operable bypass valve configured for, upon actuation of an actuator coupled with the remotely operable bypass valve, adjusting a flow of the working fluid through the adjustable bypass port.
