Pressure compensated bellows valve

A bellows seal valve includes a pressurization port that can be used to apply a compensating pressure to the “atmosphere” side of the bellows, i.e. the side of the bellows that is opposite to the process fluid. The atmosphere side can be on the interior or exterior of the bellows. The compensating pressure can be greater than the process fluid pressure, to ensure that any leakage will be of pressurizing fluid into the process fluid or into the environment, and that no process fluid will escape into the environment. The pressure or flow rate of the pressurizing fluid can be monitored to detect bellows and packing leaks. A pressurizing fluid exit port can be provided, so that the pressurizing fluid can be circulated through the valve, thereby moderating the bellows temperature under conditions of extreme process fluid temperature.

FLUID CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS
20230191176 · 2023-06-22 ·

Fluid control valve assemblies for use in fire protection sprinkler systems to control the flow of firefighting fluid to the system sprinklers. The assemblies include a pressure-operated fluid control valve having an internal fluid chamber in which fluid contained therein acts on an internal diaphragm to control the flow of fluid from an inlet to an outlet of the valve. An environment-responsive control device in fluid communication with the internal fluid chamber along a first fluid communication line controls the flow of fluid out of the fluid chamber to initiate actuation of the valve. A fluid-flow latch in fluid communication with the outlet of the valve along a second fluid communication line subsequently controls the simultaneous flow of fluid out of the fluid chamber and the actuation of the valve.

FLUIDIC COMPONENT AND DEVICE OF FLUIDIC VALVE TYPE FOR ISOLATION

A fluidic component intended to be associated with a heating module and wherein there is created a fluidic circuit which includes an inlet channel and an outlet channel, the fluidic component including a fluidic valve mechanism including: a fluidtight reservoir intended to be filled with a volume of gas capable of expanding, a deformable membrane closing the reservoir in a fluidtight manner, the membrane being able to deform by expansion of the volume of gas, between a first position wherein it forms a passage between the inlet channel and the outlet channel so as to allow a fluid to pass, and a second position wherein it obstructs the passage.

Actively controlled bleed valve

A bleed valve has a valve body enclosing a valve chamber defining a passageway between an inlet port and an outlet port. A panel is mounted into the valve body. The panel is deflectable under fluid pressure between a sealing position blocking the passageway when the bleed valve is in a close state, and a bleeding position allowing fluid flow communication between the inlet port and the outlet port when the bleed valve is an open state. A pressure control device is provided to vary a fluid pressure differential between opposite sides of the panel within the valve chamber and selectively open or close the bleed valve.
