FLOW CONTROL VALVE
20220325821 · 2022-10-13 · ·

A flow control valve adjusts an opening degree of a second channel by moving a needle valve in a first axis direction in accordance with a rotating operation amount of a knob provided at the first body, and includes a scale body, and a scale reading part that indicates the scale mark corresponding to the rotating operation amount of the knob, and a clutch mechanism that changes the scale mark of the scale body when the knob is rotated. The clutch mechanism includes an engaging portion, an engaged portion, and a clutch drive mechanism, and the scale reading part and the scale body rotate integrally when the engaging portion and the engaged portion are engaged. The clutch drive mechanism releases engagement between the engaging portion and the engaged portion when the knob is rotated and, after the scale mark is changed, re-engages the engaging portion with the engaged portion.

Oil valve

A valve stem for use in a fluid flow control valve having a valve body configured to receive a portion of the valve stem and to enable the valve stem to selectively rotate within the valve body between a fully-open position, where fluid is permitted to flow through the fluid flow control valve, and a fully-closed position, where fluid is prevented from flowing through the fluid flow control valve. The valve stem includes an elongate valve stem arm having a first end and a second end and a valve stem head integrally formed with and fixedly attached to the second end of the valve stem arm. The valve stem head includes a fluid inlet formed in the valve stem head, and a fluid outlet formed in the valve stem head, and a fluid passage that directs fluid from the fluid inlet, through the valve stem, and out of the fluid outlet.

MULTI-ORIFICE PLATE FLOW VALVE

A multi-orifice plate flow valve system is disclosed which comprises a flow control valve including a multi-orifice plate and a plurality of gear wheels. The flow rate through the valve system can be adjusted through a gear train manually via a handle and/or automatically via a motor. Orifices having different size apertures can be rotated into the transport path within the same flow control valve. The multi-orifice plate can include setting indicators, which visually communicates to a user the size of orifice aperture in the transport path. In some embodiments, a pressure transducer and/or gear position sensor can provide determination of flow rate through the valve system.

Tap group

A tap group comprising a tap body provided with at least one dispensing exit, an operating lever or knob, a regulation member of the parameters of the flow of water to be dispensed (the parameters including the temperature and/or the flow of water and/or the direction of the flow), and a transmission including gears which operatively connect the operating lever or knob to said regulation member of the flow of water. Advantageously, the gears create a gear ratio between the operating lever or knob and a control rod of the regulation member of the parameters of the flow of water, so as to reduce the rotation of the control rod of the regulation member for the same rotation of the operating lever or knob. The tap group also includes a ring-nut provided with at least one indicator and/or a reference index of the parameters of the flow to be dispensed.

Valve position indicator

A valve position indicator for a valve includes an outer housing, actuation rod, indicator flag, and follower. The actuation rod is positioned within the outer housing, which is couplable to a tail stem protector of the valve. The actuation rod may have a helical slot formed therein. The actuation rod may be rotatably coupled to the outer housing. The indicator flag may be coupled to the actuator rod and may extend radially therefrom. The follower may be couplable to a tail stem of the valve. The follower may extend in a direction perpendicular to the extent of the tail stem. The follower may extend through a slot in the tail stem protector and into the helical slot of the actuation rod when the valve position indicator is coupled to the tail stem protector.

Local Position Indicator for Subsea Isolation Valve Having No External Position Indication

A local position indicating device for a subsea isolation valve that has no other visual signals of its position integrates to the hydraulic actuation system for the isolation valve. Three way valves, connected to an operating control line and a force closed balance line leading to opposed ends of an operating piston, are located by the isolation valve and redirected by a diver or ROV, to locally operate the valve. The balance line has a piston that is displaced with fluid pushed by the operating piston when the isolation valve is opened with hydraulic pressure in the operating control line local connection. The piston connected to the balance line moves an indicator out of its housing for the local indication that the isolation valve is open. Displaced fluid from movement of the piston in the position indicator moves a floating piston to keep seawater away from the indicating piston.

Method and apparatus for mounting a control valve positioner

A control valve positioner mounting system is configured to include a control valve, a control valve positioner, an attachment lever translating movement of the control valve to the control valve positioner, and a control valve attachment system for attaching the control valve to the attachment lever using a spring loaded attachment affixed to the control valve and applying spring force to the attachment lever.

Method and device for adapting an actuator to a valve

A new valve assembly is provided that includes an actuator, a housing assembly, and a valve for diverting the flow of liquids through pipelines. Embodiments of the present invention include a yoke with transparent windows, a long valve stem, a bushing nut, an actuator shaft, a jam nut, a stem nut, a union nut to interconnect the valve stem to the actuator output shaft, a position indicator, an indicator plate, and a valve mounting bonnet and lock ring to interconnect the yoke to the valve. The housing assembly includes components to interconnect the actuator output shaft to the valve stem that reduce the side-to-side movement of the actuator output shaft, which in turn reduces the failure rate of the valve assembly.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING LEAK

The present disclosure pertains to a system for controlling a leak flow rate during respiratory therapy. The system is configured to determine a leak flow rate necessary for CO.sub.2 expulsion for an individual subject and facilitate control of the leak flow rate during therapy such that the system exhausts substantially the entire exhaled volume of gas during an expiration of the subject. The system facilitates control of the leak flow rate during therapy via an adjustable leak valve. Determining the leak flow rate for the subject and facilitating control of the leak rate may minimize noise from air flow in the system, minimize the power draw needed by a pressure generator of the system, reduce a loss of medicine added to the respiratory therapy gas, and/or have other advantages, while still expelling the desired amount of CO.sub.2.

GATE VALVE INDICATOR DEVICES FOR OIL AND GAS APPLICATIONS

An indicator device is provided for indicating a configuration of a gate valve. The indicator device includes a cam that is coupled to a valve stem of the gate valve such that rotation of the valve stem causes rotation of the cam. The indicator device further includes a gear that is coupled to the cam such that rotation of the cam causes movement of the gear and a gauge along which the gear is movable. The gauge displays an indicator that corresponds to the configuration of the gate valve based on a first position of the gear and a second position of the valve stem.
