PIPE JOINT AND JOINT CONNECTION DEVICE
Provided are a pipe joint and a joint connection device that have simpler configurations and yet can prevent fluid leakage and absorb misalignment of shaft centers. A pipe joint includes a male joint and a female joint into which the male joint is inserted. The male joint has a male joint main body and a cap that is fixed at a base end of the male joint main body, with a male joint O-ring interposed between the cap and the male joint main body. The cross-section diameter of the male joint O-ring is 3 to 10 mm, and a clearance between the male joint main body and the cap is 3 to 13% of the cross-section diameter of the male joint O-ring.

CLAMP ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF CLAMPING
A clamp assembly includes a first arm, a second arm, a hinge, and a fastening arrangement. The first arm and the second arm each include a hinge end, a free end, a web between the hinge end and the free end, a curved portion between the hinge end and the web, and a curved portion between the free end and the web. The hinge pivotably connects the hinge ends. The fastening arrangement is configured to connect the free ends when the clamp assembly is in a closed position. The curved portions are configured to encircle a first structure and a second structure when the clamp assembly is in the closed position.
PERIPHERAL SEALING GLAND FOR ELONGATE OBJECTS PASSING THROUGH A SURFACE OR BEYOND A PIPE END
Peripheral sealing glands for forming a seal between an elongate member and a substantially flat surface are provided. One method includes providing an at least in part frustoconical shaped skirt through which the elongate member is to pass and defining a deformable upper seal configured to deform about and form a first seal to a periphery of the elongate member, providing a flange depending from a lower periphery of the skirt, and providing a substantially rigid ring structured to bear on the outer surface of the flange so as to apply a substantially consistent pressure to the two or more endless lip seals to form a second seal against the flat surface. The skirt includes a retention flange to removably receive the rigid ring and to permit adjustment of the rigid ring relative to the flange.

Connecting device for tubes and guide ring with forced circulation in potential retention areas
A connection device comprising a body defining a channel having at least one tube end reception segment. Centering means for centering the tube end are arranged in a zone extending between the outer surface of the tube, a facing surface of the segment, and the sealing element. The centering means include positioning elements that are arranged to co-operate with a surface of the segment and with an outer surface of the tube and to define at least one sweeping duct for sweeping the zone, the duct having at least one inlet in the vicinity of which there extends at least one deflector arranged to insert, into the sweeping duct, fluid diverted from the flow traveling through the device, and at least one outlet for returning the fluid that has passed through the sweeping duct back to the flow.

Peripheral sealing gland for elongate objects passing through a surface or beyond a pipe end
A peripheral sealing gland is configured to form a seal between an elongate member and a substantially flat surface having an aperture into which the elongate member extends. The sealing gland includes an at least partially frustoconical shaped skirt through which the elongate member is to pass and defining an upper seal structured to deform about and form a first seal to a periphery of the elongate member. The sealing gland includes a flange depending from a lower periphery of the skirt and having an endless lip seal, and a ring configured to bear on the flange so as to apply a pressure to the endless lip seal to form a second seal against the flat surface. The sealing gland includes a resealable split extending from the upper seal to a peripheral edge of the flange, and a compression clamp configured to close the resealable split, forming the first seal.
