Grommet and method of use thereof
A grommet is at least partially comprised of a clear, rigid material is disclosed. The body of the grommet tapers from a proximal end to a distal end, allowing the grommet to be guided into a hole in a post of a handrail system. The interior of the body includes an longitudinal cannulation open to the exterior of the grommet via a helical cut in the surface, allowing for a wire rope to pass through. The grommet can be installed whether or not a wire rope has previously been passed through a railing post.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS FOR MAKING A BRACKET AND TUBING ASSEMBLY
Invention relates to a manufacturing process for making a bracket and subset assembly, process including: step (a) of placing bracket within a forming tool and putting between first portion of said bracket and second portion of said bracket a subset having a tube element and an elastic pad, step (b) of actuating the forming tool for plastically deforming the bracket so the first and second portions of the bracket come closer one to the other and press subset, thus gripping subset between the first and second portions of bracket, and during the step of actuating the forming tool for plastically deforming bracket, step (c) of using a propping spacer, distinct from the subset, for stopping the second portion of the bracket at a predetermined clamping distance from the first portion of the bracket, to secure the subset without crushing it.
Retaining device and method of using the same
A retaining device configured for retaining at least one medical device adjacent to a supporting surface. The retaining device includes a plate shaped holding portion defining a peripheral edge, a slot extending from the peripheral edge defining a loading channel, and communicating with an internal holding area. The internal holding area is dimensioned to accept the largest medical device the retaining device is configured to be used with. An attachment mechanism is connected to the holding portion to secure the retaining device to a supporting surface. A section of medical device may be inserted into and along the loading channel to enter the holding area and be retained within.
CABLE SUPPORT AND METHOD FOR USING SAME
Embodiments described herein comprise a cable system. The cable system has a plurality of cables and a plurality of cable hangers. The cable hangers are configured to support the plurality of cables in a building. The plurality of cable hangers have one or more cable supports configured to hold at least one of the plurality of cables and a support configured to couple the cable support to the building.
DOUBLE ENDED CLIP
One embodiment of the invention provides a latchable plastic clip formed from a resilient main band body bent into a near closed “S” or “
Dispenser for Cable Support and Method
A cable support for securing at least one cable along a surface comprises an elongated central shaft portion having a through opening defined along a length thereof. A pair of shoulders is defined on opposite sides of the central shaft portion at an interface between forward and rearward ends. The forward end defines a stop sized and shaped to contact and abut the surface. First and second hook structures are provided having interior surfaces extending from opposite sides of the central shaft portion rearward end, curving toward the central shaft portion forward end, and terminating rearward of the stop to define a rearward offset between each first and second hook structure and the stop. Each rearward offset is sized to allow receipt of at least one cable therein when the stop is contacting and abutting the surface.
Cable block
A cable block including a frame having an upper section and a lower section together defining an inner opening. The lower section has a main sheave rotatably connected thereto, with a section of the main sheave defining a lower portion of the inner opening. The upper section is hingedly connected to the lower section at a pivot point, with a lever extending on an opposite side of the pivot point than the remaining of the upper section. The lever is configured to extend into the inner opening and be engageable with the support cable, when the cable block is configured in the open configuration, and to drive the upper section in rotation upon a force being exerted on the lever by the support cable, to move the cable block from an open configuration to a closed configuration.
Mountable watering assembly
A mountable watering assembly may include a main column member, base, front bracket, spacer bracket, fasteners, a capping assembly, and a back bracket. One or more adjustable spacers may be disposed between the front bracket and the spacer bracket. A tap and a hose may be coupled to the main column member or to a hose assembly disposed within the main column member. The mountable watering assembly may be mounted on a railing system. One or more panels may be coupled to the main column member.
BRACKET FOR SECURING IN-WALL FIRE SPRINKLER LINE PIPING
A bracket for securing fire sprinkler line piping is provided which includes a center panel with attached first and second side flaps positioned at approximately 90 degrees to the center panel. The bracket is insertable between the sidewalls of a ceiling track and sprinkler line pipe is engaged into the pipe guide by using a swivel ring on a threaded rod. Once engaged, the bracket prevents lateral movement of the sprinkler line pipe relative to the ceiling track.
Stiffening system for hanger assembly
Example aspects of a stiffening system for a hanger assembly, a hanger assembly, and method of reinforcing a hanger assembly are disclosed. The stiffening system for a hanger assembly can comprise a stiffener rod; a brace member oriented parallel to the stiffener rod; a stiffening connector coupling the brace member to the stiffener rod, the stiffening connector defining a connector hook and a fastener hole, the connector hook defining a hook recess, a portion of the brace member received in the hook recess; and a connector fastener extending through the fastener hole, the connector fastener pressing the stiffener rod into a corner region defined between the brace member and the stiffening connector.
