Gasket Installation Guide
A gasket installation guide and method of use wherein the gasket installation guide is used to aid in the insertion of rubber gaskets into flair connector comprising a body that is inserted into the flair connector to align the center hole that passes through the body with the female flare fitting of the flair connector, so that the rubber gasket can be easily installed.
Hose connector
A hose connector is formed at the end of a rigid pipe body used to connect the pipe body to a flexible polymeric hose. The hose connector includes a frustoconical front end extending outward from a tip to a radially enlarged first ring portion that terminates at a circumferential first step. A radially reduced second ring portion extends from the first step backwards at a constant diameter to a circumferential rear edge. A circumferential second step extends from the second ring portion rear edge backwards in a decreasing circumferential diameter to a mid-section of the pipe body. A flexible hose is adapted to be inserted by pressure over the pipe body at the tip end until it passes beyond the second step to at least the mid-section of the pipe body.

LONG FERRULE
A ferrule includes a flange and an elongated sleeve extending from the flange. The flange and the elongated sleeve define a bore, which is configured to receive a length of flexible tubing. The elongated sleeve is configured to hold the flexible tubing within the bore via friction. For example, the elongated sleeve is configured to hold the flexible tubing within the bore without compressing the flexible tubing. In this manner, flow through the flexible tubing may be unrestricted. In some embodiments, a distance of flexible tubing contacted by the elongated sleeve is sufficient to hold the flexible tubing within the elongated sleeve without tightly holding or compressing the flexible tubing. This configuration can prevent narrow tubing from becoming blocked and/or the tubing bore can remain smooth (e.g., for accurate mixing, constant fluid flow, and so forth).

HOSE CONNECTOR AND METHOD FOR THE FLUID-TIGHT CONNECTION OF ONE END OF A FLUID LINE TO SUCH A HOSE CONNECTOR
The invention relates to a hose connector with an inner sleeve (2) and an outer sleeve (3) between which an annular space (5) is formed at least in a first end region (4), in which annular space one end (7) of a fluid line (8) is received. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for the fluid-tight connection of one end of a fluid line to a hose connector. The hose connector is intended to be permanently and securely connected to the fluid line with little effort. Therefore, by means of crimping the inner sleeve (2) and the outer sleeve (3) in the end region (4), a force-fitting and form-fitting connection between the end (7) of the fluid line (8) and the hose connector (1) is formed.
FITTING ASSEMBLY FOR COLLAPSE-RESISTANT HOSE
A hose fitting assembly for a collapse-resistant hose, includes a sleeve having a forward and rearward sleeve end portion, the rearward sleeve end portion having an opening adapted to receive a hose end portion; a fitting having an optionally flared rearward fitting end portion operatively coupled to the forward sleeve end portion, the rearward fitting end portion having an internal surface forming an internal cavity configured to receive the hose end portion; and an optionally threaded nipple operatively couplable to the fitting and extending rearwardly through the internal cavity of the fitting, the nipple being configured to fit within an internal hose passage. The fitting assembly may include a seal mounted in fitting and sealable against the core tube upon crimping. The fitting assembly may include a support ring between skived and unskived hose regions. A collapse-resistant hose includes a carcass with an optional unbonded sacrificial layer is also provided.
