CORROSION INHIBITING COMPOSITIONS TO MITIGATE CORROSION IN ENVIRONMENTS CONTAINING ELEMENTAL SULFUR AND/OR POLYSULFIDES
A corrosion inhibiting composition is provided which comprises a salt of a fatty acid-amine condensate and an aromatic solvent. The composition can be used in reducing, inhibiting or preventing corrosion of a metal surface used in recovery, transportation, refining or storage of a hydrocarbon fluid containing elemental sulfur or polysulfide.

An irrigation pipe assembly that utilizes a pipe that is made of a durable material, e.g., stainless steel or aluminum. During fabrication, the pipe is equipped with a plurality of components, i.e., a flange assembly, a truss mount, and an outlet, without drilling, welding, or the like. In this manner, a method of fabrication is provided that enables a plurality of components to be assembled to the pipe without compromising the integrity of the pipe material or treated surface so that galvanizing or painting is not required after the plurality of components have been fitted to the pipe.
Methods and systems for coating and sealing inside piping systems
Methods and systems for cleaning, coating and sealing leaks in existing pipes, in a single operation. A piping system can be cleaned in one pass by dry particulates forced and pulled by air throughout the piping system by a generator and a vacuum. Pipes can be protected from water corrosion, erosion and electrolysis, extending the life of pipes such as copper, steel, lead, brass, cast iron piping and composite materials. Coatings can be applied to pipes having diameters up to approximately 6″. Leak sealants of at least approximately 4 mils thick can cover insides of pipes, and can include novel mixtures of fillers and epoxy materials, and viscosity levels. A positive pressure can be maintained within the pipes during applications. Piping systems can be returned to service within approximately 96 hours.

A powder boronizing composition comprising: a. 0.5 to 4.5 wt % of a boron source selected from B.sub.4C, amorphous boron, calcium hexaboride, borax or mixtures thereof; b. 45.5 to 88.5 wt % of a diluent selected from SiC, alumina or mixtures thereof; c. 1.0 to 20.0 wt % of an activator selected from KBF.sub.4, ammonia chloride, cryolite or mixtures thereof; and d. 10.0 to 30.0 wt % of a sintering reduction agent selected from carbon black, graphite or mixtures thereof.

Methods, products, and systems for monitoring and improving pipeline infrastructure
Methods, products, and systems for monitoring and improving pipeline infrastructure are disclosed. At least one embodiment of the invention comprises a smart-sensing coating, which is applied to one or more interior surfaces of a pipe or pipeline. The coating may comprise a dual-purpose metamaterial, which itself may comprise a plurality of acoustically active and tunable particles that may be embedded in a low-friction, corrosion-resistant, omniphobic polymer matrix. The particles may comprise a multi-layered assembly with a high-density material core, elastic matrix filler, and a stiff outer shell. The particles may further be specifically engineered to form an acoustic band gap at a chosen ultrasound frequency. At this chosen frequency, the particles are very nearly acoustically opaque, preventing the transmission of any and all sound. As such, the position and distribution of the particles inside the pipelines can be clearly distinguished. Additionally, one or more embodiments of the present invention may be referred to as an Intelligent Pipeline System (IPS), which is a monitoring and reporting system for pipelines that uses a remote craft to monitor the interior condition of a pipeline. Preferentially, the IPS uses the smart-sensing coating that is applied to the interior wall of the pipeline to be tested or monitored. Installed acoustic sensors along the pipeline may query the coating and transmit pipeline conditions to the exterior environment where the information can be received by remote craft.
