A high-pressure unit (HPU) skid includes one or more hydraulic pumps, a grease pump, a hydraulic reservoir, and two or more accumulators all mounted on a portable frame. The HPU skid also includes fluidic connections to connect one or more valves to an output of the grease pump and fluidic connections to connect one or more valves to an output of at least one of the two or more accumulators. The accumulators are configured to close at least one of the one or more valves using a charged pressure. The HPU skid further includes fluidic connections to connect one or more valves to at least one of the one or more hydraulic pumps. The hydraulic pumps are configured to withdraw hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic reservoir for charging the accumulators, operating the grease pump, charging the accumulators and operating the grease pump at a same time, or operating one or more valves.

The pumping chamber is divided into a first and second cavities by the second piston head. The first cavity is between the first piston head and second piston head. The first and second cavities are placeable in fluid communication with pressure sources externally of the pumping chamber to provide a pressure differential between the first cavity and the second cavity, whereby the piston may move as a result of the pressure differential to cause the first piston head to dispense lubricant from the lubricant reservoir to the space.

The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for dosing a lubricant into compressed-air supplied to an air motor. According to the invention, the lubricant is stored in a lubricant storage space (17) from which the lubricant is led, along a lubricant line (19), to a doser (20). The doser (20) doses the lubricant into a dosing line and, therefrom, into a compressed-air line (12) extending to the air motor. The amount of lubricant contained in the storage space (17) is controlled by changing the volume of the storage space (17) by directing the pressure of the compressed-air line (12) to the lubricant storage space (17).

The lubrication apparatus further includes a fluid actuation mechanism coupled to the first sensor unit. The fluid actuation mechanism includes an actuation member disposed in the first storage section.

A movable valve element is disposed within the vent chamber and displaceable along an axis between a position in which the valve element obstructs the chamber inlet and/or the chamber outlet and a second position in which the chamber inlet is fluidly connected with the chamber outlet to provide an internal flow path from the central bore to the vent outlet port.
