Fan blade lubrication
In accordance with one aspect of the disclosure, a lubricant application device for providing lubricant to an airfoil of a gas turbine engine is disclosed. The device may include a container for holding a lubricant, a fluid outlet in fluid communication with the container, a discharge mechanism controlling a flow of the lubricant from the container to the fluid outlet, and an extension tube in fluid communication with the fluid outlet. When the discharge mechanism is activated the lubricant may flow out of the container and through the extension tube. The extension tube may be dimensioned to fit between an airfoil root and rotor cavity of a gas turbine engine.
OIL INJECTION ADAPTER AND SYSTEM
The invention disclosed herein is a system for dispensing storage or fogging oil into the cylinders of internal combustion engines prior to putting the engines up for storage, during storage, or when removing the engine from storage. The system includes a dispensing adapter for closing off the spark plug hole of an engine cylinder, the dispensing adapter including threads of different sizes and diameters to accommodate common spark plug thread sizes. The dispensing adapter may also be used to temporarily plug a spark plug hole when a spark plug is removed from an engine.

Chain lubricant applicator apparatus
A chain lubricant applicator apparatus attaches to a container of lubricant. Three wicking pads define a channel for passage of a chain to be lubricated, and apply lubricant to the chain rollers and side plates of the chain. The side wicking pads may be retained in place by a retaining feature such as small serrations or teeth. A valve in the housing regulates lubricant flow from the lubricant container to the wicking pads.

CHAIN LUBRICATION TOOL
A tool (10) for lubricating a chain (50), e.g. of a motorbike or bicycle, includes a block that defines a chain passage (22) through the block for receiving the chain (50). A first lubricant channel (438) through the block can be used to apply lubricant (56) into the chain passage where it is directed onto the chain. A second lubricant channel (300) can collect excess lubricant to allow the lubricant to drain and be collected for tidier operation. Lubricant channels can be provided for both aerosol and liquid lubricants.
