LANDSCAPE LIGHTING SYSTEMS HAVING LED LAMPS THAT ENABLE INSTALLERS TO RAPIDLY IDENTIFY LUMEN LEVELS AND BEAM SPREADS
A landscape lighting system includes a first LED lamp including a first lamp body and an optic having at least one LED for generating light, and a second LED lamp including a second lamp body and an optic having at least one LED for generating light. The first lamp body has a first color for indicating a first lumen level for the light generated by the first LED lamp, and the second lamp body has a second color that is different than the first color for indicating a second lumen level for the light generated by the second LED lamp. The second lumen level is different than the first lumen level. The optics of the first and second LED lamps have transparent covers with beam angle spread indicators provided on the respective transparent covers. At least one of the optics has a color temperature indicator on a transparent cover.
WIRELESSLY CONNECTED LIGHTS
In one aspect, the invention provides a set of connected lights. The lights comprise an illumination panel having a single colored or a multi-colored LED. The lights are connected to each other directly through any known means, such as RFID, Zigbee, WLAN, WWAN, Bluetooth, Infrared, and the like, and combinations thereof. Each light is operated using a touch sensor, a motion sensor, a gesture sensor, etc. When a state of any one of the lights changes, the states of all the other connected lights are automatically synchronized. The states include at least one of on and off, or alternatively off and on in any one of multiple options of color, etc. Each color is associated with a specific message, and the connected lights may be used to transmit and receive messages accordingly. Thus, the invention also provides a method of transmitting and receiving messages using the connected lights.
UNDER-HOOD LUMINAIRE
Various aspects and embodiments of under-hood luminaires are described. In one example, an under-hood luminaire includes a luminaire frame assembly. The luminaire frame assembly includes support braces and a number of cross members secured to the support braces in a spaced-apart configuration. The cross members include mounting surfaces, and light strips are secured to the mounting surfaces. The luminaire also includes a contraction hook assembly that can be used to secure the under-hood luminaire to the hood of an automobile. The luminaire can be relied upon to uniformly illuminate the engine compartment of the automobile, helping to eliminate lost productivity and frustration for mechanics.
LED lighting apparatus and housing
A lighting apparatus and method for making the same are presented. In some aspects the apparatus includes a plurality of LED light sources mounted to a metal circuit board in a housing of the apparatus. In other aspects a light-permissive potting compound is disposed in the space between the LEDs and circuit board and the housing of said apparatus so as to permit exit of light from said LEDs while providing mechanical protection for the circuit board and LEDs and removing heat generated from said LEDs.
MODULAR LIGHTING SYSTEM
An apparatus and a method are provided for a modular lighting system. In one embodiment, the modular lighting system comprises a compact and lightweight outer enclosure that features a plurality of lighting elements. It is envisioned that a subsection of the lighting elements is static, in that it may not be removed from the outer enclosure. The plurality of lighting elements are configured so that they may be detached from the outer enclosure and placed at locations based on the user's discretion so as to substantially reduce shadows and illuminate key areas. The modular lighting system may be operated wirelessly. In at least one embodiment, the detachable lighting elements include independent power sources.
LIGHT TUBE
A lamp includes a light tube and one or more circuit boards. The light tube has three or more securing elements that extend along a length of the light tube. The circuit boards have a plurality of LEDs. The light tube is configured such that the one or more circuit boards are secured to an interior of the light tube by an adjacent pair of the three or more securing elements.
Hand-held UV stimulator
A system and method for stimulating light sensors (e.g., UV) using a hand-held stimulator. The hand-held stimulator is portable and configurable to store a plurality of routines comprising various light signatures. In some cases, the signature is a threat signature (e.g., missile, RPG, and/or gunfire) and the stimulator is used as part of system integration, field and flight line, and/or lab testing for systems utilizing light sensors.
WORK LIGHT
A work light includes a main light holder for holding a main light and at least one auxiliary light holder for holding at least one auxiliary light; wherein the at least one auxiliary light holder is located on at least one side of the main light holder and is rotatably connected with the main light holder by at least one pivot, the at least one pivot is extended along a first direction; and the at least one pivot is located within boundaries of both sides of the at least one auxiliary light holder along a second direction, the second direction is perpendicular to the first direction. Therefore, a light-emitting angle of the auxiliary light with respect to the main light can be adjusted by rotating the auxiliary light holder, and illumination range and illumination intensity of the work light can be increased by rotating the auxiliary light holder.
Light source device
Provided is a high-emission light source device which is capable of obtaining a desired color tone of red light and can be mounted on a small projector. A light source device includes a first light source for emitting a red light, a second light source for emitting a light different from the red light, a fluorescent member for emitting a light containing a red light component and a light component other than the red light component upon receiving the light emitted from the second light source, and a filter for transmitting or reflecting the red light component of the light emitted from the fluorescent member.
Flexible lighting apparatus
A lighting apparatus comprising a light emitting diode (LED) arrangement encased in a blanket-like body is provided. The blanket-like body is constructed in a manner allowing for the lighting apparatus to be rolled up for ease of storage and transport.
