Recessed portions and protruding portions of the recessed and protruding portion of each recessed and protruding structure unit are smoothly connected together. Embodiments of work stations for use in a medical dose preparation management system are disclosed. A work station may include a camera stand. The camera stand may include a housing enclosing a camera and one or more light sources therein. As such, the camera and light sources may be directed at a medical dose preparation staging region to capture medical dose preparation images of the medical dose preparation staging region. The camera stand may include an adjustable support positionable in a plurality of positions to dispose the camera and light source relative to the medical dose preparation staging region. The work stations may facilitate improved image quality and record work flows carried out at the work station for preparation verification.

A planar light source device includes a light diffusing portion and a light reflecting portion in this order. The light diffusing portion has light transmissivity and light diffusivity. Reflectance of the light reflecting portion with respect to light of a particular wavelength entering at an angle of incidence of 0° is 80% or higher. The reflectance of the light reflecting portion with respect to at least part of light of the particular wavelength entering at an angle of incidence of which an absolute value is greater than 45° is less than 50%.

ANTI-GLARE SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES
An anti-glare system for vehicles has a linear polarized filter mounted to a headlight of a vehicle with the positive side of the filter placed at a 135 degree angle relative to a horizontal line. A second linear polarized filter is mounted to a windshield of the vehicle with the negative side of the second filter placed at an angle of 45 degrees relative to a horizontal line. When vehicles equipped with this anti-glare system meet travelling in opposite directions, the polarized light emitted by the headlight of one vehicle is blocked by the filter installed in the windshield of the other vehicle. A third linear polarized filter may be mounted to rear and side view mirrors of the vehicle with the positive side of the third filter placed at an angle of 135 degrees relative to a horizontal line. When vehicles equipped with the anti-glare system meet travelling in the same direction, the polarized light emitted by the headlight of one vehicle is blocked by the filter installed in the rear or side view mirror of the other vehicle.
ENERGY EFFICIENT COMMUNICATION AND DISPLAY DEVICE
An adaptive backlight module and a method and system for producing an adaptive backlight module are described herein. In one example, an adaptive backlight module includes a light source, a polarizer, at least one enhancement film disposed between the light source and the polarizer, and a diffuser disposed between the light source and the enhancement film. The diffuser includes a first electrode coupled to a first substrate and a second electrode coupled to a second substrate. A liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode of the diffuser.
ENERGY EFFICIENT COMMUNICATION AND DISPLAY DEVICE
An adaptive backlight module and a method and system for producing an adaptive backlight module are described herein. In one example, an adaptive backlight module includes a light source, a polarizer, at least one enhancement film disposed between the light source and the polarizer, and a diffuser disposed between the light source and the enhancement film. The diffuser includes a first electrode coupled to a first substrate and a second electrode coupled to a second substrate. A liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode of the diffuser.
