HEAT EXCHANGE UNIT AND AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
A heat exchange unit includes a heat exchanger, a first drain pan, and a second drain pan. The heat exchanger is configured to cause heat to be exchanged between air and refrigerant. The first drain pan is provided so as to face the heat exchanger and has an opening through which the air flows. The second drain pan is provided so as to face the heat exchanger and is attached to the first drain pan so as to form an L shape in side view together with the first drain pan. The heat exchange unit is installed in an installation state in which the first drain pan is located below the heat exchanger or in an installation state in which the second drain pan is located below the heat exchanger. The second drain pan includes a rib on a facing surface facing the heat exchanger.
INDOOR UNIT OF REFRIGERATION APPARATUS
An indoor unit of a refrigeration apparatus includes: a drain pan that includes four wall surfaces including a first wall surface, and has a quadrangle shape in a plan view; a heat exchanger disposed above the drain pan and through which a combustible refrigerant, having a larger specific gravity than air, flows; a fan that generates air flow to the heat exchanger; a gas sensor that detects a refrigerant leakage; and a casing accommodating the drain pan, the heat exchanger, the fan, and the gas sensor.

Support shelf for an air conditioner evaporator coil
A universal shelf for mounting an evaporator coil into an indoor furnace cabinet includes a planar platform substantially the size of the cross section of the furnace cabinet and having attachment means along its edges, which, in one embodiment, mate with existing mounting hardware for different types of evaporator coils. At least one side edge of the platform includes a rectangular step extending at least a portion of the length of the platform, the shelf adapted to mate with a U-shaped rail attachable to the inside of the cabinet. A foldable tab on the front edge of the shelf opposite the rail attaches to the front of the cabinet while, in a preferred embodiment, a leg hingedly attached to the rear corner of the shelf opposite the rail rests upon the floor of the cabinet to hold the platform level with the rail.
Air conditioner selection system
An air conditioner selection system is a system for selecting an air conditioner including an indoor unit. The air conditioner selection system is provided with a floor area acquisition section, an allowable refrigerant amount acquisition section, and an air conditioner selection section. The floor area acquisition section acquires a floor area of a room where the indoor unit is to be installed. The allowable refrigerant amount acquisition section acquires an allowable refrigerant amount of a refrigerant allowed to remain in the room at least based on the floor area acquired by the floor area acquisition section. The air conditioner selection section selects the air conditioner including the indoor unit installable in the room at least based on the allowable refrigerant amount acquired by the allowable refrigerant amount acquisition section.
