AIR CONDITIONER WITH VARIABLE SPEED COMPRESSOR AND VARIABLE SPEED FAN
Air conditioner units and methods of operating the same are provided. A method of operating an air conditioner unit includes determining a fan speed as a function of a compressor speed of a variable speed compressor of the air conditioner unit. The method also includes activating a variable speed fan of the air conditioner unit at the fan speed. An air conditioner unit may include a controller, and the controller may be configured for performing the method.
METHOD FOR CLEANING AIR CONDITIONER AND AIR CONDITIONER
A method for cleaning an air conditioner comprises: in response to a cleaning instruction, controlling frosting on the surface of a target heat exchanger; after a frosting completion condition is met, controlling defrosting of the frost on the target heat exchanger; and after a defrosting completion condition is met, reducing the surface temperature of the target heat exchanger to a sterilization temperature, and carrying out quick cooling sterilization, wherein the temperature difference between the sterilization temperature and the defrosting temperature during defrosting meets a set temperature change sterilization condition. By means of a frosting-defrosting process, dirt such as dust on the heat exchanger may be effectively stripped and deep bacteria may be exposed, and then the quick cooling sterilization process may kill the bacteria by utilizing the sharp temperature change during switching from the defrosting process to the quick cooling process. Also disclosed is the air conditioner.

Controller of air conditioning apparatus, outdoor unit, relay unit, heat source unit, and air conditioning apparatus
When heating is being performed, and a temperature detected by a temperature sensor is lower than a first determination value, a controller opens the flow rate control valve corresponding to a heat exchanger, of the third heat exchangers, to which a request for air conditioning has not been made, and closes the flow rate control valve corresponding to a heat exchanger, of the third heat exchangers, to which the request for air conditioning has been made. When heating is being performed, and the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is higher than a second determination value, the controller opens the flow rate control valve corresponding to the heat exchanger to which the request for air conditioning has been made, and closes the flow rate control valve corresponding to the heat exchanger to which the request for air conditioning has not been made.
CAPACITY CONTROL FOR HVAC SYSTEM
A method is provided for controlling an HVAC system. The method includes receiving zone priority levels and zone temperature setpoints, where at least one of the zones haves a higher priority level than others of the zones, receiving an indication of zone ambient temperature values, determining requested zone capacity values to maintain the zone ambient temperature values within a threshold deviation of respective ones of the zone temperature setpoints, determining target zone capacity values from the requested zone capacity values and zone size values, and from the zone priority levels where the target zone capacity values may be responsive to a total of the requested zone capacity values that is less than a minimum capacity or greater than a maximum capacity of the HVAC system, and causing the HVAC system to provide the conditioned air to the zones according to respective ones of the target zone capacity values.

Air-conditioning apparatus
An air conditioner switches between a normal refrigeration cycle and a defrosting refrigeration cycle, and includes: a refrigerant circuit that connects a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, a radiation panel, and an expansion valve that regulates a flow rate of a refrigerant flowing through the radiation panel; and a controller that causes the air conditioner to switch between the normal refrigeration cycle and the defrosting cycle. During the normal refrigeration cycle, the radiation panel performs cooling or heating. During the defrosting cycle, the first heat exchanger serves as a radiator and the second heat exchanger serves as an evaporator. During the defrosting cycle, the controller causes the expansion valve to be in a fully closed state.

Air Conditioner
An air conditioner comprises: a refrigerant circuit configured to circulate refrigerant through a compressor, a condenser, an LEV and an evaporator; a first temperature sensor configured to sense the temperature of liquid refrigerant at the inlet port of the evaporator; and a controller configured to control the compressor and the LEV. In a case where a temperature sensed by the first temperature sensor is lower than a frosting reference temperature, the controller increases the opening degree of the LEV and also increases the operating frequency of the compressor as compared with a case where the temperature sensed by the first temperature sensor is higher than the frosting reference temperature.
