Resource consumption measurement system and method
A system is disclosed to obtain irrigation water consumption data for a water-monitored property. The system may include a non-transitory computer-readable medium and computer code encoded on the non-transitory computer-readable medium, for, among other things, opening and closing each of one or more irrigation valves in accordance with calibration schedule data during a first period of time within one or more daily, weekly, or monthly future time periods when water consumption is not likely to occur or is likely minimal; and calculating a first computed flow rate for each of the one or more irrigation valves based on, among other things, the calibration valve open time and the calibration valve close time. A method and computer program product related to the foregoing system are also disclosed.
Method for confirming an execution of a consumption reduction command
The invention relates to a method for confirming an execution of a command for reducing electrical power consumption of at least one passenger transport vehicle. The method may include sending a consumption reduction command signal to the regulation system of each vehicle. The command signal may be modulated by a reference signal. The method also may include obtaining a signal of the power consumed by the air conditioning system(s) of the set of vehicles in response to the reference signal, and confirming execution of the consumption reduction command according to characteristics of the signal of power consumed by the air conditioning system(s) of the set of vehicles.
Space recommendation method, device, and system based on air conditioning system, and storage medium
A space recommendation method based on an air conditioning system includes: obtaining a user space usage request that includes demand information of a user for a space; and determining a current energy consumption amount of each of a plurality of air conditioning units of the air conditioning system. Each of the plurality of air conditioning units includes a plurality of air conditioning terminal devices, the plurality of air conditioning terminal devices is respectively arranged in a plurality of spaces; determining a candidate space based on the current energy consumption amount; and recommending an available space based on the demand information and the candidate space.
HVAC system and control methods for operation within a microgrid
An HVAC renewable energy management system and components to enable the efficient use of locally produced power from an onsite nanogrid and interconnected nanogrids of a cohesive direct current microgrid network. The system comprises a central controller for controlling one or more intermittent distributed energy resource (DER), source converter, distributed storage device, energy storage converter, power bus, internal load, and interface gateway to one or more external grid for bi-directional power control, sharing, and consumption. System hardware and software elements are configured for internetworking communication, management, control, demand side management, and power balance, using maximum power point tracking to shift power consumption, dynamic matching of local DER production, power quality assurance, system protection, power interconnection management, interface management, metering, revenue settlement, system optimization, and security. The system can match local power production with an individual household's power consumption to reduce intermittency and ultimately total microgrid consumption.
System, method and apparatus for augmenting a building management system with customized sensor information
A system, method and apparatus for augmenting a building control system domain. A sensor network platform can be configured to collect data based on measurements from sensors outside of a legacy building control system domain, and to present information based on the collected data to a known interface supported by the legacy building control system. In one embodiment, the collected data can undergo customized processing by an operation center outside of the legacy building control system domain.
HVAC control system and method
A HVAC control system comprising a user interface adapted to receive comfort feedback from a user. A processor is adapted to receive the comfort feedback and input data corresponding to one or more comfort factors and respective values of the comfort factors. The processor is adapted to build a comfort model for the user based on the comfort feedback and the input data, with the comfort model correlating a comfort score to one or more values of one or more of the comfort factors. The processor is configured to adjust one or more functions of an HVAC unit to vary one or more comfort factors such that a predetermined comfort score is achieved. An associated method and an associated system are also provided.
Building supervisory control system having safety features
A building supervisory control structure having a supervisor connectable to a cloud and a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) unit connected to the supervisor and the cloud. A safety features stack is connected to the supervisor. The safety features stack includes a connectivity check automated fail-over, an optimization watchdog, a rule-based comfort protection mechanism, savings bottlenecks overview, a human override, and a notification mechanism.
Outside air treatment device and air conditioning system
An outside air processing device adjusts the temperature and humidity of outside air taken thereinto, and then supplies the adjusted air to a target space. The outside air processing device includes a heating element configured to heat air, a humidifying element configured to humidify air that has passed through the heating element, and a control unit for outside air processing configured to change the temperature of air at an inlet of the humidifying element in accordance with the humidity in the target space.
COMFORT ADJUSTMENT METHOD AND RELATED APPARATUS
This application discloses a comfort adjustment method and a related apparatus. The method includes: obtaining environment information and user information that correspond to a first space, where the first space is a non-open space; determining, based on the environment information, the user information, and a thermal comfort representation indicator, a control indicator of at least one device corresponding to the first space; and controlling the at least one device based on the control indicator of the at least one device.
Remote device control and energy monitoring by analyzing and applying rules
Techniques are described for providing remote device (e.g., thermostat, lighting, appliance, etc.) control and/or energy monitoring. A system monitors sensor data captured by one or more sensors that sense attributes relevant to user presence at one or more monitored properties and status of one or more energy consuming devices associated with the one or more monitored properties. The system analyzes the monitored sensor data and the monitored device status with respect to a set of one or more rules and performs an operation related to controlling the one or more energy consuming devices based on the analysis of the monitored sensor data and the monitored device status with respect to the set of one or more rules.
