System and method for reducing moisture in a refrigerated room
A method includes receiving moisturized air from a refrigerated room and absorbing, in a portion of a desiccant wheel, moisture from the moisturized air, wherein absorbing moisture from the moisturized air produces dehumidified air. The method further includes discharging the dehumidified air to the refrigerated room.
Dehumidifying and cooling apparatus
The present invention relates to a dehumidifying and cooling apparatus, comprising: a housing in which a first channel and a second channel are formed; a heating unit disposed inside the first channel; a desiccant rotor which is rotatably provided inside the housing; a cooling unit disposed inside the second channel; and a refrigerant circulation unit having a refrigerant circulation circuit including a compressor and a condenser, wherein the condenser is disposed inside the second channel such that the refrigerant circulated therein, can be condensed by the heat exchange with the second air cooled by the cooling unit.

A rotary wheel humidity regulating device, an air conditioning system having same, a control method for an air conditioning system, and a controller. The rotary wheel humidity regulating device includes an adsorption rotary wheel, a first heat exchanger, and a second heat exchanger. The adsorption rotary wheel has a first portion located at an air inlet side of a fresh air system of an air conditioning system and a second portion located at an air return side of the fresh air system. The first heat exchanger is disposed at a position on the air return side, is in communication with a refrigerant circuit of the air conditioning system, and is controlled for cooling or heating by the air conditioning system through the refrigerant circuit. The second heat exchanger is disposed at a position on the air inlet side close to the first portion, is in communication with the refrigerant circuit, and is controlled for cooling or heating by the air conditioning system through the refrigerant circuit.
Air conditioner
An air conditioner includes an outdoor unit including a compressor for compressing a refrigerant and an outdoor heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the refrigerant and outside air. A ventilation device is connected to the outdoor unit through a liquid refrigerant pipe, a high-pressure refrigerant pipe, and a low-pressure refrigerant pipe. The ventilation device supplies the outside air to an indoor space, and discharges indoor air to the outside. The ventilation device includes a case, a main heat exchanger, a recovery heat exchanger, a refrigerant distributor, and a re-heat heat exchanger. A liquid refrigerant pipe valve is disposed in the liquid refrigerant pipe for controlling an amount of refrigerant.
AIR CONDITIONER AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure provides an air conditioner capable of improving user convenience because a ventilation mode in which heat exchange between indoor air and outdoor air is performed and a ventilation mode in which the heat exchange is not performed are selectable by a user and a controlling method of the air conditioner. To this end, the air conditioner includes an indoor introduction air path configured to introduce air into an indoor space and an outdoor discharge air path configured to discharge air to an outdoor space, wherein the outdoor discharge air path includes an air path in which heat exchange is performed with the air introduced into the indoor space, and a by-pass path in which heat exchange is not performed with the air introduced into the indoor space, and the air conditioner further includes a controller configured to control the air discharged to the outdoor space so that the air discharged to the outdoor space flows to one of the air path, in which the heat exchange is performed, and the by-pass path.
Dehumidification Air Conditioning Apparatus
Outside air is cooled and dehumidified by a pre-cooler to pass through an adsorption zone of a carbon dioxide adsorbing rotor, producing air having a low carbon dioxide concentration which is cooled by an intercooler. The air that has passed through the intercooler is passed through an adsorption zone of a moisture adsorption rotor and then supplied to a low humidity working chamber. Return air from the low humidity working chamber may be mixed with the air leaving the pre-cooler. A part of the air which passed through the intercooler is branched to pass through a purge zone of the moisture adsorption rotor before being sent to a regeneration zone of the humidity adsorption rotor. Air that passed through the regeneration zone of the humidity adsorption rotor is mixed with outside air and then passed through a regeneration zone of the carbon dioxide adsorption rotor before being exhausted.
PACKAGED GLYCOL RUN-AROUND COOLING AIR HANDLING UNIT FOR MULTI-STORY DATA CENTERS
The present invention pertains to Air Handling Units (AHUs) as a means of providing cooling in data centers containing heat generating equipment such as computer, server and/or electrical equipment, which AHUs utilize two (2) part cooling systems in a primary/scavenger arrangement. The two (2) part split cooling systems are comprised of a primary Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) unit and a Scavenger Unit, both of which contain two (2) cooling systems. The two proposed cooling systems are: Glycol run-around cooling Direct-Expansion (DX) cooling
Hybrid heat pump apparatus
The present invention relates to a hybrid heat pump apparatus comprising: a housing having a first channel and a second channel formed therein; a dehumidifying rotor disposed in the housing; a heating unit disposed in the first channel and heating air passing therethrough; a cooling unit disposed in the second channel and selectively cooling air passing therethrough; a coolant circulating unit including a compressor, a first heat exchanger disposed in the second channel, a second heat exchanger, and a four-way valve; and a water circulating pipe through which water circulates and which is connected to the second heat exchanger for heat exchanging between the circulating water and coolant in the second heat exchanger.
Dual-wheel HVAC system and method having improved dew point control
A dedicated outdoor air system and method that is capable of operating over a broader spectrum of conditions. The HVAC system of the present invention utilizes a heating means positioned within the return air passageway in order to optimize the regeneration of the desiccant wheel and energy recovery device. By positioning a heating means upstream of the regeneration side of the desiccant wheel, the system is capable of providing supply air having low dew points to the enclosed space while still providing improved energy efficiency over conventional HVAC systems.
