METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PURIFYING AIR FROM BIOLOGICAL AGENTS AND VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS
A method for improving indoor air quality in a room, comprising drawing air from the room and guiding the air into a gas/liquid contactor charged with aqueous alkali hydroxide/H.sub.2O.sub.2 solution, passing the air through a perforated membrane installed in the gas/liquid contactor below the surface level of the aqueous alkali hydroxide/H.sub.2O.sub.2 solution, such that bubbles produced travel through said solution, and getting treated air with improved quality from said gas/liquid contactor, said treated air is characterized by having: reduced carbon dioxide levels; and/or reduced VOC levels; and/or reduced microbiological load. An air purifier to carry out the method is also provided.

An air purification device (100) comprising a housing (102) defining an air inlet (110), an air outlet (112), and an airflow pathway (114) extending from the air inlet (110) to the air outlet (112); a liquid reservoir (130) disposed across the airflow pathway (114) between the air inlet (110) and the air outlet (112); an ultraviolet (UV) light source (210) disposed in the housing (102), wherein the UV light source (210) is positioned to emit UV light into the airflow pathway (114); and an electrostatic precipitator (310) disposed across the airflow pathway (114).

In order to provide a dust-containing gas treatment apparatus which can smoothly achieve the treatment of gas containing dust of high concentration, the apparatus is equipped with a cylindrical treatment room to introduce gas containing dust and remove the dust from the gas, catcher consisting of brush with the hair planted in the support installed in the treatment room to catch the dust contained in the gas, liquid spraying mechanism installed in the treatment room, rotary driving mechanism to rotate the catcher and stirrer, gas introducing portion to introduce the gas containing dust, gas discharging portion to discharge the gas, the dust removed, from the treatment room and liquid discharging portion to discharge the liquid containing the dust removed from the gas.

A ventilation type air cleaner includes a housing having a central rotating shaft including a purification part, a washing part, and a sterilization part in a circumferential direction with respect to the central rotating shaft, a rotating unit installed to be rotatable about the central rotating shaft as a rotation center in the housing, a filter assembly detachably coupled to the rotating unit and configured to sequentially pass through the purification part, the washing part, and the sterilization part according to rotation of the rotating unit, an intake duct connected to the housing and configured to guide a flow of air introduced to the purification part, and an exhaust duct connected to the housing and configured to guide a flow of air discharged from the purification part.
AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEM AND CLEAN ROOM SYSTEM
There is an air purification system comprising, at least one housing, at least one pump configured to pump a biological purification solution through the housing. at least one fan configured to draw air into the housing. Air is cleaned and flows in a direction transverse to the direction of flow of the enhanced fluid. There can be at least one sensor which determines a level of biological impurities or contaminants in the air. There can also be at least one controller configured to control a rate of movement of said at least one fan based upon a level of impurities detected by the sensor. In at least one embodiment there can be at least one clean room which is configured to clean the air through at least one air purification system comprising one having an enhanced fluid or one that uses UV light and at least on HEPA filter.
AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEM AND CLEAN ROOM SYSTEM
There is an air purification system comprising, at least one housing, at least one pump configured to pump a biological purification solution through the housing. at least one fan configured to draw air into the housing. Air is cleaned and flows in a direction transverse to the direction of flow of the enhanced fluid. There can be at least one sensor which determines a level of biological impurities or contaminants in the air. There can also be at least one controller configured to control a rate of movement of said at least one fan based upon a level of impurities detected by the sensor. Ambient air purifier with humidification and dehumidification
