A temperature adjustment apparatus has a Peltier element supplied with electric power to allow heat exchange between an electronic device mounted on a vehicle and a heat exchange portion of the vehicle, and a Peltier element control section that controls electric power supplied to the Peltier element. When the temperature difference between a first surface of the Peltier element serving as an exothermic surface and a second surface of the Peltier element serving as an endothermic surface becomes larger than a first predetermined value as a result of supply of electric power to the Peltier element, the Peltier element control section stops supply of electric power to the Peltier element.

A method of controlling a hydrogen/oxygen producing system is a method of controlling a hydrogen/oxygen producing system including a water electrolysis apparatus that electrolyzes liquid water by applying current to an anode and a cathode, and a hydrogen gas pressurizing part that pressurizes hydrogen at downstream of the water electrolysis apparatus by applying current to a pressurizing part anode and a pressurizing part cathode. A controller controls current applied to the water electrolysis apparatus and current applied to the hydrogen gas pressurizing part. When the hydrogen/oxygen producing system is stopped, the controller performs first decompression processing such that a decompression speed of the pressurizing part cathode of the hydrogen gas pressurizing part does not exceed a basic decompression speed and performs second decompression processing such that a decompression speed of the anode of the water electrolysis apparatus does not exceed the decompression speed of the pressurizing part cathode.

Proposed is a thermoelement heat exchange module including a body and a thermoelement. The body has a cooling water flow path through which cooling water flows and has an opening which communicates with the cooling water flow path, and has an inlet which is formed at a first side thereof to communicate with the cooling water flow path and through which cooling water is introduced and has an outlet which is formed at a second side thereof to communicate with the cooling water flow path and through which cooling water is discharged. The thermoelement has a first surface thereof coupled to a portion where the opening of the body is formed such that the first surface is exposed on the cooling water flow path. The cooling water flow path has a portion having a relatively small hydraulic diameter in a flow direction of cooling water.

A system for cooling a missile includes an assembly of Peltier tiles configured to be reversibly attached to the skin of the missile with the cold sides of the Peltier tiles against the skin. The Peltier tiles are electrically powered to cool a portion of the missile skin. A thermally conductive paste or sheets of a heat conductive material may be placed between the Peltier tiles and missile skin. When the missile is launched, the assembly of Peltier tiles detach from the missile.

A thermoelectric assembly includes a thermoelectric module having a hot side and a cold side, where a heat sink is coupled with the hot side of the thermoelectric module and a cold sink is coupled with the cold side of the thermoelectric module. A vapor barrier is attached to and covers an outer surface of the gasket to prevent water vapor from penetrating the outer surface of the gasket.
