A refrigerator includes: a cabinet which has a storage space with an open front surface; a door which is provided in the cabinet and opens and closes the storage space; an evaporator which is provided in the cabinet; an upper duct which extends above the storage space in a front and rear direction and guides cold air from the evaporator; and a deodorizing device which is provided on the upper surface of the storage space, in which an upper discharge port is formed in the upper duct to discharge cold air at the front end of the upper surface of the storage space, and the deodorizing device is disposed adjacent to the upper discharge port to deodorize cold air discharged through the upper discharge port.

The automated air filter can automatically prevent accumulation of debris and avoid clogging, with little or no effort by the owner or user.
Solar powered thermally conditioned space
The present disclosure discloses a solar powered thermally conditioned space, which, in an embodiment, may be used to provide a cold storage arrangement for preservation of perishable commodities over an extended time period. The cold storage arrangement (10) includes a refrigeration unit mounted within a non-insulated compartment for circulating refrigerated de-humidified air to an insulated compartment. A chamber (12) defines the insulated compartment and the non-insulated compartment. The cold storage arrangement (10) is operated by a powering system powered by solar energy from solar panels mounted over a roof of the chamber (12).

A refrigerator includes a blower fan assembly having a cold air introduction hole configured to be open toward a storage compartment, and the blower fan assembly is located behind the front surface of an evaporator. Due to the structure of the refrigerator, cold air passing through the evaporator may efficiently flow to the cold air introduction hole of the blower fan assembly, and the flow resistance of the cold air may be reduced, so consumption efficiency may be improved.

Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a first discharge part such that a temperature distribution difference between the upper section (upper space relative to the center portion of the inside of a storage compartment) of the inside of the storage compartment and the lower section (lower space relative to the center portion of the inside of the storage compartment) of the inside of the storage compartment may be reduced. In addition, water produced in the surrounding area of a blower fan may flow down into a flow path formed under the blower fan such that the loss of the flow amount of cold air may be reduced. Due to such a structure of the refrigerator, even temperature distribution inside of the storage compartment may be realized, and consumption efficiency may be improved.
APPARATUS FOR STERILIZATION AND DEODORIZATION AND REFRIGERATOR HAVING THE SAME
A refrigerator comprises: a cabinet; a storage compartment disposed inside the cabinet; a cold air duct disposed behind the storage compartment; and a sterilization and deodorization apparatus mounted inside the storage compartment, and configured to draw air discharged from the cold air duct, sterilize and deodorize the air, and discharge the sterilized and deodorized air into the storage compartment. The sterilization and deodorization apparatus comprises: an inlet connected to a duct outlet of the cold air duct; a deodorizing filter configured to deodorize the air flowing into the inlet; a sterilizing lamp disposed between the inlet and the deodorizing filter and configured to sterilize the air flowing into the inlet; an outlet configured to discharge air sterilized and deodorized by the sterilizing lamp and the deodorizing filter into the storage compartment; and a deodorizing lamp disposed opposite to the sterilizing lamp with respect to the deodorizing filter and configured to activate the deodorizing filter.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator may include: a body, a storage compartment inside the body, a thermoelectric module on an upper portion of the storage compartment and including: a thermoelectric element including: a heating and a cooling portion, a dissipating and a cooling sink in contact with the heating and cooling portion, respectively; a heat dissipation (HD) fan configured to generate an airflow, a HD duct having an inlet and outlet, the HD duct on an upper surface of the body and configured to guide the airflow through the inlet to the dissipating sink to exchange heat with the dissipating sink, and then out the outlet; and a dust filter mountable on the inlet and configured so that, with the dust filter mounted on the inlet and the HD fan generating the airflow, the dust filter prevents foreign substances in the airflow from entering inside the HD duct through the air inlet.
