REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator including a moisture absorbing unit configured to absorb moisture in the cold air surrounding the evaporator. The moisture absorbing unit includes a moisture absorbing material. Therefore, undesirable frosting on the evaporator can be effectively prevented. The moisture absorbing unit can be heated by a defrosting heater disposed proximate to the evaporator and the moisture absorbing unit. Thus moisture in the moisture absorbing material can be removed and the moisture absorbing material can be repeatedly used.
REFRIGERATOR AND REFRIGERATOR MANUFACTURING METHOD
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a refrigerator having a main body including a storage space, a door coupled to the main body, and a glass film member covering at least a portion of a front surface of the door. The glass film member includes a glass panel, a protection layer bonded onto the glass panel, a film bonded to the protection layer, the film including a transparent film layer having a pattern formed on a surface thereof, a metal deposition layer deposited on the transparent film layer, and a coating layer coated on the transparent film layer.
REFRIGERATOR
The present invention provides a refrigerator capable of supplying hot and cold drinking water to a user. The refrigerator includes a cold water tank and a hot water tank and a Peltier effect thermoelectric element disposed between the tanks. When a unidirectional current is supplied to the thermoelectric element, its heat absorption portion can absorb heat from the cold water tank and cool down the water stored therein; and its heat generation portion can release to the hot water tank and heat up the water stored therein. The cold water tank can further be cooled by the cold air in the refrigerator; while the hot water tank can further be heated by the heat in the machine room.
BOTTOM MOUNT MULLION ROLLER
Provided is a refrigeration appliance including a refrigerated compartment, and a plurality of doors that, when closed, cooperate with each other to collectively enclose an entrance into the refrigerated compartment. A mullion is pivotally coupled to a distal side of a first door included in the plurality of doors, and is pivotal between an open orientation when the first door is open and a closed orientation in which a seal is established between the mullion and a second door when the doors are closed. A roller is provided adjacent to an end of the mullion, and includes a rubberized material that extends about at least a portion of an exterior periphery of the roller. A receiver with an arcuate surface over which the exterior periphery of the roller with the rubberized material travels to adjust the mullion between the open orientation and the closed orientation is also provided.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator that includes: a cabinet; a door that is coupled to the cabinet and that is configured to open or close an opening of the cabinet; a first drawer; a plurality of rollers, each of the plurality of rollers being coupled to a first side of the first drawer or a second side of the first drawer; a plurality of first support rails, each of the plurality of first support rails (i) being coupled to a first side of the storage compartment or a second side of the storage compartment and (ii) being configured to guide one or more of the plurality of rollers; a base that is located at a third side of the first drawer in the storage compartment and that is configured to move; and a withdrawal unit that is configured to move the base based on movement of the door is disclosed.
Refrigerator Locking System
A refrigerator locking system is used to secure the doors of a refrigerator in closed or open positions. The system includes at least one anchor bar, a locking bracket, a door block and a refrigerator. The refrigerator includes a frame, at least one refrigerator door and a freezer door. The anchor bar is mounted to the frame in between the refrigerator door and the freezer door. The locking bracket is connected adjacent to the frame and is engaged with to the door block to secure the refrigerator door and the freezer door. The door block can be used to press the refrigerator door and the freezer door against the frame, keeping the refrigerator closed. Alternatively, the door block can be positioned in between the frame and both the refrigerator door and the freezer door to keep the refrigerator open.
REFRIGERATOR AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A refrigerator is provided that includes a cabinet having a refrigerating compartment cooled by a refrigerating compartment evaporator and a refrigerating compartment fan, and a freezing compartment cooled by a freezing compartment evaporator and a freezing compartment fan. A filler is provided on one of pair of doors to shield a gap between the pair of doors when the pair of doors are closed, a filler heater is provided inside the filler, and a controller is configured to control operations of the refrigerating compartment fan, the freezing compartment fan, the filler heater, and a compressor. When the refrigerating compartment evaporator performs a defrosting operation, the controller turns on the refrigerating compartment fan and the filler heater in state in that the compressor turns off so that heated air inside the refrigerating compartment is circulated to pass through the refrigerating compartment evaporator.
REFRIGERATOR
A door driving system and a refrigerator having the door driving system according to the present invention are provided with a motor, a power transmitting device for transmitting the power generated by the motor to the hinge, and an auxiliary device for receiving the power generated by the motor and generating an auxiliary force to move a door positioned in a closing position in an opening direction, so that the torque to be applied to the hinge of the door for opening and closing the door may be reduced.
REINFORCEMENT ASSEMBLY FOR AN INSULATED STRUCTURE
An appliance includes a vacuum insulated structure that has a peripheral edge including a wrapper and a liner. A mullion is operably coupled to the vacuum insulated structure. A reinforcement assembly is operably coupled to the vacuum insulated structure and the mullion. The reinforcement assembly includes a perimeter frame that is operably coupled to the peripheral edge of the vacuum insulated structure, and a central plate that is operably coupled to the mullion. A door is operably coupled to the reinforcement assembly.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator may include a body formed with a storage space and a cooling module accommodating space; a cooling module disposed in the cooling module accommodating space and having a heat absorption part and a heat radiating part; a drawer supporter disposed inside the storage space; and a drawer supported by the drawer supporter, and the drawer supporter is formed with an inner passage through which cold air flowing from the heat absorption part passes, and the drawer supporter is formed with a plurality of cold air discharge ports through which cold air of the inner passage is discharged in an opposite direction. Therefore, it is possible to maximize the depth of the storage space in the front-rear direction while minimizing the number of parts, and cool the entire storage space evenly.
