Refrigerator and method for controlling the same
A refrigerator includes a first storage chamber, a second storage chamber spatially-separated from the first storage chamber, a first refrigeration cycle system to cool the first storage chamber using a first refrigeration cycle, and a second refrigeration cycle system installed to be separated from the first refrigeration cycle system to cool the second storage chamber using a second refrigeration cycle in an independent manner from the first refrigeration cycle. The first and second storage chambers maintain first and second target temperatures, respectively. The first and second refrigeration cycle systems circulate different kinds of refrigerants to cool the first and second storage chambers, respectively.
Refrigeration manager tool for monitoring and controlling disparate refrigeration systems at an installation site
A refrigeration manager that can be used to monitor and control disparate refrigeration systems at a site, even when the refrigeration systems are manufactured by different vendors. The refrigeration manager provides common views for the disparate refrigeration systems, which may help a technician more easily monitor and control the various refrigeration systems at a site.
CONDENSATE RECOVERY FROM REMOTE COOLING UNITS
A cooling system has a chiller to remove heat from a cooling liquid and a plurality of remote cooling units each comprises a heat exchanger coil, a fan blowing air through the heat exchanger coil, a drip pan receiving drip water condensing on the heat exchanger coil, a cooling conduit connected to the chiller outlet and the heat exchanger coil, a return conduit connected to the chiller inlet and the heat exchanger coil, and a suction conduit connected to receive water from a pan outlet of the drip pan. A liquid pump circulates the cooling liquid through the chiller and through each remote cooling unit, and a suction pump connected to an output end of each suction conduit draws drip water from each drip pan through each of the suction conduits and deposits the drip water into a collector.
Modular refrigeration system
Exemplary embodiments provide a refrigeration system having an interior space cooled by a plurality of cooling. Each cooling unit is capable of operating either synchronously when in communication with a control panel or under independent operation. Each cooling unit is modularly and replaceable without the use of tools by means of a quick connect system. The cooling units use a heat exchanger cooled by chilled water and make use of an electronic super heat control and electronic expansion valve to regulate the flow of refrigerant for improved efficiency.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes an inner case configured to accommodate a refrigerated item therein, an outer case configured to surround the inner case, a heat insulator configured to be at least partially disposed between the inner case and the outer case, and a reinforcing member disposed between the inner case and the outer case to support the outer case and having a fastening part to couple the refrigerator with another refrigerator installed adjacent to the refrigerator by using a connection member, and the fastening part coupled to the connection member to enable alignment between the refrigerator and the another refrigerator.
Multi-select single refrigerating appliance drawer
A refrigerator drawer having a body having a front panel, a rear panel, two side panels, more than one pivotable dividers, each divider pivotable between use and non-use positions, the dividers capable of dividing the drawer body into more than one compartments, a ducted cover and/or a ducted bottom, the ducted cover and ducted bottom each having a channel connecting to more than one fans, and a temperature sensor located within each of the possible compartments is provided.
POWER MANAGEMENT FOR REFRIGERATION UNITS
Methods and systems for power management are provided. Aspects include receiving, by a controller, load data associated with two or more refrigeration systems, wherein the two or more refrigeration systems comprise at least a first refrigeration system and a second refrigeration system, determining, by the controller, an available power capacity for the first refrigeration system and the second refrigeration system, operating, by the controller, the first refrigeration system and the second refrigeration system in a plurality of modes based at least in part on the load data and the available power capacity, wherein the plurality of modes comprise an unloaded mode and a plurality of loaded modes.
Modular coolroom system and coolroom modules therefor
A transportable coolroom module is provided including a base frame and a coolroom structure mounted on the base frame, wherein the coolroom structure includes a floor, a plurality of walls each extending above the floor, and a roof supported by the walls. At least one access door may be provided in at least one of the walls, and at least one removable infill panel may be provided in at least one of the other walls. The removable infill panel may be attached to the coolroom structure. The transportable coolroom module may be used as a stand-alone coolroom. The at least one removable infill panel may be selectively removed from the coolroom structure and the transportable coolroom module may be selectively interconnected with one or more other like transportable coolroom modules to create a larger combined coolroom environment.
