Modular collapsible solar dryer for multipurpose drying

A solar dryer system, including an upper thermal collection unit including a plurality of tiers of thermal radiation collection panels, where a vent is disposed between adjacent ones of the tiers of the thermal radiation collection panels. The solar dryer system can include a chamber disposed between the upper thermal collection unit and a base, where the chamber is configured to receive an object for a drying process using the dryer system. The solar dryer system can also include at least one fan disposed within the chamber and coupled to the base to provide circulation for the drying process.

Electrode roll drying method, and electrode roll drying device

An electrode roll drying device includes a drying oven housing an electrode roll, an outer-side heater configured to heat the electrode roll, an axial-side heater configured to heat the electrode roll, a pressure reducer configured to reduce internal pressure of the drying oven, a sensor configured to detect a temperature of an outermost portion of the electrode roll, and a control unit configured to control operation of the outer-side heater, the axial-side heater, and the pressure reducer. The control unit is configured to operate the outer-side heater and the axial-side heater to heat the electrode roll from the outer-side and winding core side, and, when the temperature of an outermost portion reaches a target temperature, stop operation of the outer-side heater, operate the pressure reducer to reduce the pressure within the drying oven, and carry out the heating by the axial-side heater and the pressure reduction by the pressure reducer.

Drying using phase change material (PCM)

Drying a planar substrate such as paper sheet goods for packing materials includes layering a phase change material (PCM) on a substrate, in which the substrate has a moisture content and adapted for moisture removal to form a planar medium. A drying process disposes the substrate adjacent to a plurality of rollers and heat the layered substrate to a predetermined temperature based on a specific heat of the PCM. The rollers advance the layered substrate in series through pocket ventilation regions between the heat transfer elements, such that the pocket ventilation regions permit drying of the substrate enhanced by the specific heat of the temperature sensitive material. Upon drying, the layered substrate forms the planar medium suitable for use as a packing medium or other suitable application. The pocket ventilation regions are based on the PCM to facilitate drying and eradication of moisture from the paper planar substrate.

An integrated solar energy drying system, including: a solar greenhouse, a solar energy storage bed, an air condenser, a wet dust collector, pipes, valves, and blowers. The solar greenhouse includes: a top side, three sunny sides, a shady side, floorboards, a gas inlet, and two gas outlets. The solar energy storage bed includes: an upper air box, a lower air box, a plurality of solar heat collecting-storing pipes, and a sealing chamber. Each solar heat collecting-storing pipe includes an air pipe. The air condenser includes: an air inlet, an air outlet, two gas chambers, and a bundle of gas pipes. The solar greenhouse, the solar energy storage bed, the air condenser, the wet dust collectors are connected via pipes. The valves and the blowers are disposed on the pipes.

An algae dryer defines an insulated and heated stationary drum within which is positioned a rotating arm extending an axial sprayer to spray a coat of algae on the inside of the drum with a second integrated opposing arm axially extending an offset scraper which engages the inner perimeter of the drum surface and removes the algae from the interior of the drum, depositing the dry algae scrapings into the bottom of the drum through a slot, further directing the harvested algae through an auger to a packaging or processing location.
