HOLLOW TUBE WITH VARYING CROSS-SECTIONAL AREA AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A hollow tube with a varying cross-sectional area is disclosed. A hollow tube with a varying cross-sectional area, the hollow tube extending from one end to other end to form a longitudinal direction, the hollow tube comprises a plurality of hollow tube units that are formed to extend along the longitudinal direction and are coupled to each other to constitute the hollow tube, a hollow positioned inside the hollow tube, wherein a cross-sectional area of the hollow varies along the longitudinal direction, and a filling module installed in the hollow.
EVAPORATIVE WET SURFACE AIR COOLER
A wet surface air cooler (WSAC), including an evaporative spiral heat exchanger for flowing a process medium therethrough, a spray system for spraying a cooling medium directly onto the spiral heat exchanger and a fan for causing air to flow through the evaporative spiral heat exchanger, the combination of the sprayed cooling medium onto the evaporative spiral heat exchanger and the air flowing therethrough causes the cooling medium to at least partially evaporate to lower the temperature of the process medium.
Heat exchanger
A heat exchanger extends between a first end and a second end and includes: a central core; and a heat exchange section; wherein the heat exchange section comprises: a primary flow inlet; a secondary flow inlet; a primary flow outlet; a secondary flow outlet; a plurality of primary flow tubes for conveying a primary flow from the primary flow inlet to the primary flow outlet; and a plurality of secondary flow tubes for conveying a secondary flow from the secondary flow inlet to the secondary flow outlet. The primary flow tubes and the secondary flow tubes are grouped together to form at least one strand; and wherein the at least one strand is helically wrapped around the central core.
Heat exchanger and heat exchanging system
A heat exchanger includes a first header tank, a second header tank, and a plurality of tubes. The plurality of tubes is arranged in braided pairs that extend in and are configured to direct a fluid between the first and second header tanks in a first direction. Each of the plurality of tubes have opposing ends that are respectively secured to the first and second header tanks via elbows such that the plurality of tubes are offset from the first and second header tanks.
INTERLACED HEAT EXCHANGER
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a climate management system that includes a heat exchanger having a first set of microchannel coils fluidly coupled to a first circuit of the climate management system and a second set of microchannel coils fluidly coupled to a second circuit of the climate management system, where the first circuit and the second circuit are fluidly separate from one another, and where the first set of microchannel coils and the second set of microchannel coils are disposed in an alternating arrangement along a length of the heat exchanger such that the first set of microchannel coils and the second set of microchannel coils are interlaced in the heat exchanger.
HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM ADAPTABLE TO A SINK
A thermal recovery device for recovering waste heat from a sink having a bottom plate, the bottom plate having a top surface and a bottom surface, wherein the bottom plate being a thermal conductor, the thermal recovery device including: a tube including an inlet and an outlet, the tube thermally connected to the bottom surface, wherein thermal communication exists between the top surface and a fluid in the tube, a demand for the fluid causes the fluid to flow through the tube and heat transfer to the fluid which raises the temperature of the fluid prior to entering a heater and subsequently arriving at the top surface of the bottom plate of the sink from which the heat is transferred, reducing the heating load of the heater due to the demand of the fluid.
INTERLACED HEAT EXCHANGER

VARIABLE PITCH HELICAL COOLING JACKET
Methods and systems are provided for cooling an electric motor. In embodiments, the cooling jacket includes a helical channel having a coolant inlet and a coolant outlet. The pitch of the helical channel decreases along an axial dimension of the helical channel, such that the pitch, and thus the cross-sectional area available for flow of the coolant, is greatest at or near the coolant inlet and smallest at or near the coolant outlet. The cooling jacket also includes flow-through loops associated with the first and final turns of the helical channel to allow coolant to circulate about entry and exit portions of the motor multiple times.
