A heat exchanger according to the present disclosure includes a main heat exchange unit configured to exchange heat between air and refrigerant, and condense the refrigerant, a subcooling heat exchange unit configured to exchange heat between air and the refrigerant passing through the main heat exchange unit, and subcool the refrigerant passing through the main heat exchange unit, and a connection pipe configured to connect the main heat exchange unit and the subcooling heat exchange unit to allow the refrigerant to pass therethrough, wherein the connection pipe connects the main heat exchange unit on its outflow side to the refrigerant and the subcooling heat exchange unit on its inflow side to the refrigerant, such that when the main heat exchange unit condenses the refrigerant, the refrigerant from the outside flows into the downstream side of the main heat exchange unit and the subcooling heat exchange unit relative to a flow of the air, and flows out from the upstream side of the main heat exchange unit and the subcooling heat exchange unit relative to a flow of the air to form a counter flow in which a flow of the refrigerant is opposite to a flow of the air.

The freeze dryer comprises a bearing device, and an evaporation device and a condensation device which are provided on the bearing device, at least one of the evaporation device and the condensation device comprising a structure of the heat exchange device. The heat exchange device is integrally molded by extrusion, and the heat exchange device is provided with at least one medium flow passage, a plurality of fins are formed on the outer periphery of the medium flow passage, and the fins being provided at intervals to form gaps allowing airflows to pass therethrough. The heat exchange device and the freeze dryer of the present disclosure can be designed to be smaller, reducing the volume, and facilitating miniaturization of products.

In one instance, an isolator for a heating, ventilating, and cooling (HVAC) system is provided that is a formed plastic member that is disposed between dissimilar metals of the bottom of the condenser and a base pan that supports the condenser or between two dissimilar metals of another HVAC heat exchanger. The isolator separates the two dissimilar metals involved from each of those components and also provides gaps or apertures to drain any water that otherwise might become standing water that potentially causes oxidation or increased oxidation. A multi-step method is disclosed for exchanging heat in a vapor compression heat transfer system having a working fluid circulating therethrough. The method includes the step of circulating a working fluid comprising a fluoroolefin to an inlet of a first tube of an internal heat exchanger, through the internal heat exchanger and to an outlet thereof. Also disclosed are vapor compression heat transfer systems for exchanging heat. The systems include an evaporator, a compressor, a dual-row condenser and an intermediate heat exchanger having a first tube and a second tube. A disclosed system involves a dual-row condenser connected to the first and second intermediate heat exchanger tubes. Another disclosed system involves a dual-row evaporator connected to the first and second intermediate heat exchanger tubes.

Provided are an integrated connector and a heat exchanger including the same, which may prevent assembly defects and leaks of a heat exchanger because the connector may be manufactured with precise dimensions, and is easy to manufacture, by integrally forming the connector that connects and firmly couples a header tank and a gas-liquid separator so that a heat exchanger medium communicates in the heat exchanger such as a condenser, in which the integrated connector is formed by molding a first pipe portion inserted into a hole of the header tank, a first flange portion in surface contact with an outer surface of the header tank, a second pipe portion inserted into a hole of the gas-liquid separator, and a second flange portion in surface contact with an outer surface of the gas-liquid separator so as to be connected to one another and have an interior communicating with one another.
