Heat exchanger
A heat exchanger for cooling particulate matter from a high-temperature industrial process or warming material from a cryogenic process is disclosed. The heat exchanger comprises a structure comprising a rectangular frame, piping that is supported by the rectangular frame and completes at least one circumference around the rectangular frame, and a fan. The piping is supported to the frame on a series of moving supports. The piping comprises an inlet end and an outlet end, and the piping contains external cooling fins. The structure is sealed except for where the finned piping is located.
EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION COOLER FOR AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An exhaust gas recirculation cooler may include a housing having a coolant inlet opening into an inlet region and a coolant outlet, and a plurality of cooling tubes arranged in the housing next to one another to form a tube row, each cooling tube connecting an exhaust gas inlet and outlet. At least two tube rows with one arranged on top of another and spaced from each other may form a tube block. Exhaust gas may be flowable through an inside of each cooling tube, and a coolant flow may be able to be circulated outside of the cooling tubes within the housing and flowable through an annular space enclosing the tube block in a circumferential direction. A flow guide arrangement for guiding the coolant in the interior of the tube block may be arranged in the housing lying against at least portions of one of the tube rows.
Heat exchanger
A heat exchanger includes a bundle of tubes, which can be inserted into a tubular housing. Exhaust gas can flow through the tubes. A coolant duct can be arranged between the tubes. The bundle of tubes can have at least one grid-like securing structure which supports the bundle in the housing. The behavior of the heat exchanger with respect to vibrations is affected by outwardly curved metallic springs attached to the bundle of tubes which may be deformed in the opposite direction to the insertion direction of the bundle into the housing. The spring force is directed against the housing in order to dampen vibrations. The heat exchanger can also include an elastic device for permitting a change in length caused by temperature changes.
EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION COOLER WITH DAMPING RODS
An Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler assembly and an EGR cooler conduit assembly are provided. Heat exchange tubes in EGR cooler assemblies may vibrate and contact the EGR cooler shell, thereby leading to the tube fretting and potentially failing. The current disclosure is directed to the use of damping rods to absorb vibratory impacts and reduce or eliminate tube fretting.
SPIRAL LOUVER SHAPED CONDENSER WITH MULTILAYER SPATIAL STRUCTURE
A spiral louver shaped condenser includes fins and a refrigeration pipe. The fins are spirally wound around the outer wall of the refrigeration pipe at equal screw pitches. The fins are integrally formed by stamping a strip-shaped sheet material and at least comprise first heat-absorbing and heat-radiating bodies and second heat-absorbing and heat-radiating bodies. A broken line is arranged between adjacent heat-absorbing and heat-radiating bodies, and each heat-absorbing and heat-radiating body forms a wavy structure. Relative wave crests and wave troughs are formed at each broken line between the adjacent heat-absorbing and heat-radiating bodies, and the wave crests and wave troughs formed by all the broken lines of the adjacent heat-absorbing and heat-radiating bodies form a honeycomb structure together. The wavy edges of the first heat-absorbing and heat-radiating bodies make contact with the outer wall of the refrigeration pipe in a spirally-wound mode at equal screw pitches.
