Firearm bolt assemblies and firearms including the same are described. In embodiments the firearm bolt assemblies are configured to localize compressive forces applied during a transition from an initial position to a firing position to a first cam system on one side of the firearm bolt assembly, and to localize compressive forces applied during a transition from the firing position to the initial position to a second cam system another side of the firearm bolt assembly. Localizing the forces in that manner enables the use of a first cam system that is relatively robust compared to the second cam system.

Double Crossbow

A double crossbow with a single trigger mechanism is provided. The double crossbow comprises a barrel, an upper bow, a lower bow, and a single trigger mechanism. The upper bow and the lower bow are positioned on top of each other at a distal end of the barrel. The single trigger mechanism positioned at a proximal end of the barrel is configured to shoot two arrows in succession without reloading an arrow between two shots. A first arrow is shot from the upper bow when a single trigger of the single trigger mechanism is squeezed completely a first time, and the second arrow is shot from the lower bow when the single trigger of the single trigger mechanism is squeezed completely a second time. The single trigger mechanism is configured to not shoot the first arrow and the second arrow simultaneously.

A machine gun top cover assembly includes a top cover door attached to a main housing. The top cover assembly defines a rear transverse track section and a front transverse track section for guiding bolt assemblies of the gun. As the machine gun rotor assembly rotates, the rear track section prevents the bolt assemblies from moving into position for firing, and the front track section guides the bolt assemblies into position for firing. A selector switch on the top cover door selects between: (i) a safe position wherein, each of the bolt assemblies are sequentially directed into the rear track section; and (ii) a fire position wherein the bolt assemblies are directed into the front track section. The top cover assembly can include a solenoid for moving the selector switch between the safe position and the fire position in response to an electrical control signal.

A zero recoil Gun includes apposed reverse rifled barrels. A pivoting frame housing used to load and unload cartridges with two apposing firing pins located at the center point of breech ends of both reverse rifled barrels. A sliding pin that is used to lock or unlock said pivoting frame to barrel for firing position or loading position. A king firing pin used to push said two above mentioned apposing firing pins into bullet cartridge primer. A single trigger is mounted in above mentioned pivoting frame housing for movement between rest position and firing position. A breech end located on both apposed barrels where a single cartridge bullet is loaded in said both apposing breeches. A king pin hammer is used to cock the gun into the firing position. A king pin trigger interlock is movably mounted on pivoting frame that engages the king pin arrowhead mounted on the king pin to prevent the king pin from moving to the firing position. The king pin trigger interlock is moved into both firing position or the safety rest position by hand. Further a zero recoil gun with a radio frequency remote control apparatus to fire the weapon that includes a frequency receiver a battery and an electrical solenoid that moves the trigger.

The Double crossbow (the double bow) in the field of Mechanical engineering.

The Double crossbow addresses the need to fire multiple arrows at targets without having to reload.

The Double Crossbow is a hand held bow that can fire two arrows without reloading, from two separate bows where both arrows are held in place before firing by a spring and the string of each bow is held by two pawls in the trigger unit and released by the triggers after the automatic safety catch is removed. The aiming of the crossbow can be done by telescopic or open sights (optional) mounted on adjustable rails and where accessories can be fitted to the crossbow. It can be made of any or a combination of wood, metals, plastic, composite and fibreglass materials as deemed suitable and a variety of finishes will be applied to suit crossbow use and marketing design requirements. The principle use of the invention is for target shooting and animal hunting.

A crossbow, which enables the firer to fire two arrows onto a target without having to reload between shots, using telescopic or iron (open) sights and capable of taking multiple accessories.
