Electrified riot protection shield
The present invention relates to an electrified riot protection shield for keeping law enforcement officers safe while deterring rioters. The shield is designed as a multi-person shield and can be used by a plurality of security officers to shield their bodies, such that when one or more protestors touch a front surface of the shield, a non-lethal electric shock is administered to the protestor's body to deter the protestor or rioter. The shield can be held in front of the officers' bodies by grasping the insulated handles disposed on a rear surface of the device and an electric supply is provided to a metal plate from an integrated battery for providing the electric shock. A trigger is actuated to enable the electric supply to the metal plate and the trigger can be actuated when the metal plate is pushed or touched by a protestor.
Restraint device
A restraint device having a tubular body with a handle at one end and a telescopic extension rod at the other end which allows the overall length of the body to be selectively adjusted. A cuff is attached to a tether at the end of the rod in a non-deployed position. The tether can be released so a law enforcement officer can loosely control a detainee. Electrical circuitry in the body is connected to electrodes on the lower end of the handle and on the cuff so a disabling charge can be delivered. The device is also useful to civilians as a protective device when jogging, walking, bicycling or the like.
DEVICE WITH MULTIPLE SELECTABLE LESS-LETHAL OPTIONS
The present invention discloses a personal protection device for multiple less-lethal ammunition options. The device is comprised of a lightweight carbon-composite forearm sleeve assembly having one or more externally mounted light-weight multi-layer composite barrels of various calibers for dispensing less-lethal ammunition at controlled muzzle velocities. In addition, Picatinny Rail attachment points are provided for mounting external tactical gear. The invention thus provides the user with multiple selectable less-lethal ammunition options in a single device while protecting the operating arm. Internally, the gauntlet contains a pistol grip with an electronic control system for selecting and firing individual less-lethal ammunition.
Method of operating a security system with deterrent capability for intimidation and neutralization
A method of operating a security system with deterrent capability is implemented through security cameras that are articulated and non-articulated, entry doors, and a control unit. The control unit is communicatively coupled with the security cameras and the entry doors as the control unit is supervised by a trained operator. The security cameras continuously send audio and video data to the control unit so that a threatening target can be identified before he or she can do any destruction. When the threatening target is identified, the entry doors are locked and electrified through the control unit in order to provide an initial defense system for the threatening target. Additional deterrence can be implemented at the threatening target through a less-lethal deterrence unit and non-lethal deterrence units of the articulated security cameras while the non-articulated security cameras provide surveillance of the threatening target to the control unit.
CEW weapon system and related methods
Implementations of conductive energy weapons (CEWs) may include a shock generating circuit configured to couple to a power source, two electrodes operatively coupled to the shock generating circuit, and a safety circuit operatively coupled to the shock generating circuit. The shock generating circuit may be configured to generate a first pulse train and deliver the first pulse train to a target, and may be configured to generate at least a second pulse train and deliver the at least second pulse train to a target. The safety circuit may be configured to prevent the CEW from applying pulse trains to the target after a predetermined number of pulse trains. The first pulse train may include two or more pulses having waveforms substantially identical with each other, each of the waveforms of the two or more pulses having both a positive voltage segment and a negative voltage segment.
Interlocking telescopic rod-type defense spray apparatus
An interlocking telescopic rod-type defense spray apparatus includes: a first tube body, a cap and a second tube body. The first tube body has a receiving chamber for placing an irritant gas can. The cap covers the receiving chamber. A rod body portion of the second tube body includes an upper tube, a lower tube, and a telescopic-rod packing device connecting the upper tube and the lower tube. Two sectioned tube pieces and a spring pin component and a push joint component between the two tube pieces are applied to lock and unlock a relative position relationship between the two tube pieces, so that the defense spray apparatus has composite functions of a rod-piece additional function of a locking configuration of relative positions of the two tube pieces and a press-lever spray irritant gas can of an unlocking configuration of the relative positions of the two tube pieces.

A tool. A firearm, a blade and an ancillary device are disposed within or on the tool. The firearm comprises a barrel through which a bullet passes to exit the firearm, a firing pin moveable to a firing position by operation of a firing pin control, a firing pin lock retaining the firing pin in the firing position when in the locked position, a biasing member for applying a force to the firing pin with the firing pin restrained against the force by the locked position of the firing pin lock. A trigger releases the firing pin lock from the locked position, such that the force causes the firing pin to strike the charge proximate the bullet. The bullet then exits the barrel.
Methods and Apparatus for a Conducted Electrical Weapon
A conducted electrical weapon (“CEW”) launches wire-tethered electrodes from multiple cartridges to provide a current through a human or animal target to impede locomotion of the target. The CEW may detect when the electrodes launched from the cartridges may provide the current through more than one target. The CEW may detect when electrodes launched from the cartridges may provide the current through the same target. The CEW may set the pulse rate of the current based on detecting the launch of electrodes from more than one cartridge, detecting that electrodes may provide the current through two or more targets, and/or detecting that two or more pairs of electrodes may deliver the current through the same target.

Disclosed is an apparatus that includes an electric power source that powers a Marx generator that is electrically coupled to a cathode emitter that is configured to discharge electrical potential into the earth. The apparatus also includes a load resistor that is coupled between the output of the Marx generator and either a relative ground or the input to the Marx generator.
Controller for Electrical Impulse Stress Exposure Training
A control module used in combination with an activation device for generating an activation signal in response to a stress exposure training event and an electrical impulse device for delivering an electrical shock to the user. The control module has a housing for being carried on the user. The module includes a controller function which sends a shock signal to the impulse device to shock the user according to prescribed shock criteria in response to an activation signal. The control module can be used with various activation devices including light-based force-on-force training or video shoot-back simulations. An operator input of the controller enables the prescribed shock criteria stored on the controller which is carried on the user to be adjusted by an operator directly at the module or remotely.
