FIREWORKS AERIAL DISPLAY SHELL AND METHOD OF USE
A fireworks aerial display shell is provided with lift charges positioned at opposite ends of a casing that additionally contains an effects charge. Fuses are operatively associated with the lift charges and the effects charge in a manner to ignite the lift charges a period of time before igniting the effects charge. When either one of the ends of the casing is placed facing a closed bottom of a launch tube of a reusable mortar, the burning lift charge at that end of the casing when ignited exerts a propelling force to propel the aerial display shell upwardly out of the launch tube to an intended height before the effects charge is ignited to create a pyrotechnic visual effects display.

Pyrotechnic system
A pyrotechnic projectile, an electronic controller for a pyrotechnic projectile, and a method of controlling a pyrotechnic projectile are provided. The pyrotechnic projectile comprises: a burst charge, configured to provide an a visual and/or audible effect upon activation thereof; an electronic match configured to activate the burst charge; and an electronic controller, coupled to the electronic match. The electronic controller is configured to determine an altitude of the pyrotechnic projectile and cause the electronic match to activate the burst charge at least in part according to the altitude of the pyrotechnic projectile.
Automated detonation of fireworks
A fireworks kit can have a set of fireworks having multiple fireworks of different types and a plurality of detonators in communication with the fireworks that are configured to launch or detonate a firework attached thereto. A remote controller or mobile device can be in communication with the detonators and operable to provide dynamic or user customizable control of detonation, launching, or ignition of the fireworks.

PYROTECHNIC LAUNCH UNITS AND SYSTEMS
A modular pyrotechnic launch unit includes a launch module, a first module, and a second module. The launch module includes a launch barrel. The first module is coupled in series to the launch module. The first module includes a first ignition state in which the first module ignites a pyrotechnic element that will then pass through the launch barrel. The first module also includes a first pass-through state in which the first module allows a pyrotechnic element ignited by another module to pass through the first module. The second module is coupled in series to the first module. The second module includes a second ignition state in which the second module ignites a pyrotechnic element that will then pass through the first module and through the launch barrel.

REMOTE TRIGGER FOR PYROTECHNIC ENERGY RELEASES
The present invention relates to a method for providing a predetermined pyrotechnic energy output to a pyrotechnic separating device for separating an electrical line, such as a cable, a wire, a conductor path or the like, leading to an electrical energy source, such as a battery or an accumulator, for outputting and/or receiving electrical energy, in which: a temperature of or in the vicinity of the electrical energy source is detected; and, when the detected temperature exceeds a predetermined temperature threshold, the pyrotechnic separating device is remotely activated to separate the electrical line at a location spatially remote from the electrical energy source.
